Unit Attributes

I've been looking for two unit attributes.
To be precise I've seen Thorakitai & Thorakitai Hoplitai have the same statistics, but the Hoplitai have the SUPERIOR attribute.

Also, the Epilektoi & the Spartiatai have the Elite attribute.

What do this attributes do? Is there really a big difference between Thorakitai & T. Hoplitai?

The roman units have almost no attributes. Why not give them the Elite attribute to some of their troops (Cohors Praetoriana, as they were truly elite in their time)?

The difference is mostly hidden stats like mass and a (wonderful) sword instead of a javelin. Still they are overpriced and mostly impractical.

What he said. It's really just a quick descriptor reminder of their approximate relative quality level (and by and large relates to the unit's base "experience level" used in the statting calculations).
