So i've been playing as saba. Got a nice little kingdom and a province in india, minding my own business. Then Palmyra rebels to me. I decided to try and keep onto it, sandwiched inbetween two massive empires. The selucids and ptollies have been warring for ages but for some reason not really getting any where. So they decide to have a ceasefire.
I hire an eastern merc general and fortify the city. So far its survived about 10 massive sieges with lesser quality troops. Just had this epic battle and thought it was lost (my general died in it unfortunately, he was such a badman, 3 gold chevrons 60 cavalry.)

I thought i'd won this one by the skin of my teeth, then it crashes as its loading the map back up! argghhhhh.. need a rest before i sort that one out again.
Im expecting it to crash again anyway, and auto resolves not going to win it.
I've tried before not turning the script on to eliminate the crashes, then turning it on the next turn. Does this effect the stats of the units involved?
So anyway, don't quite know where this campaigns going to go, unless the ptollies and selucids have it at each other again. The saka are starting to consume the greys eastern empire though (they've already wiped out baktria). Might give up in the west and try sue for peace and build a stronger eastern empire, but facing the hordes of horse archers isn't very appealing.
