View Full Version : Would there be any interest in a section for DLC community reviews?

Following the release of the first pay for DLC I was wondering if there was any use in establishing a section for community reviews (I am assuming the recent release will be first of many)?

It could assess things like production quality of the the release, how well it fits within the main title, functionality, and value for money (a basic test being if the main title is £30 does the content to price represent value in reference to this).

I know that community feed back is already present throughout the forums, it is the main influence I use on whether to buy and when to patch, but I would find it useful to have a single source drawing the experienced members of the community.

The second element is (as CA seem to pay attention to community forums) if a particular DLC pack is of high quality it can be a mechanism to promote good content up-take, or to make community recomendations to improve price value or actual content, hopefully ensuring we get a good deal and CA can know quality content will be financially rewarded.

Sure, I'd be interested in it.

That's the kind of feedback that made me think that it would be useful to have a review section.

I guess what I am intested in is seeing if there could be a community based scoring for DLC that could be stickied or something so that if I am looking for good content I can get the recommendations in one place of what is good and what is not.

Other problem would be finding people willing to do the reviewing.
