Say what you want, that was a man who loved what he did and genuinely thought that what he did helped people save money and solve problems.
He will be enshrined in my signature forever, he was an awesome man.

Hey, I liked the guy too. But all that can be said was already in the article.
man, what a tragic week.
No kidding, first Ed McMahon, then Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson and now Billy Mays?
Mays isn't a giant like the first three taken, but he was certainly someone who made me smile. His style has been satired countless times, and somehow i can't help but think now late night infomercials will be much more dull. :shame:
RIP.

Wow, he was just on the Tonight Show a few days ago, this is rather sudden. Now who will wake me up when I fall asleep in front of the TV by shouting about Oxyclean? RIP.

Vince is in prison, for beating up a prostitute. Who was biting his tongue off. I'm not sure if that will affect his career.

I'm sad. He was always so happy and made me smile during his commercials. Nothing ever got him down except for the Shamwow really but I guess he had the last laugh in that. I wonder what they will do with 'Pitchmen.' That was a nice show considering the crap that Discovery run nowadays.
I'm guessing they will jsut run the rest of it and do a tribute to Billy Mays episode at some point.
I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD BE SAD ABOUT NEEDING TO BUY FEWER EARPLUGS!!
This is a bad week.

Hmm, I read up on him and it says that on 27th, he got hit in the head "real hard" (in his own words) after the plane he was landing in had its tires blown out, sending a shockwave that in turn launched quite a bit of the baggage inside the aeroplane. Odd, since the baggage is supposed to be secured, to prevent these sorts of accidents...
This is a bad week.
How rightly noticed. What is the celebrity death-toll by now? Four?

Rest in peace, Mr. Mays.
Never bought any of the products, but I liked his style. Frankly, any time people die as young as he was shakes me a bit- both my parents are older than Mr. Mays.

Five. David Carradine, Ed McMahon, Farah Fawcett, MJ and Billy Mays. Obviously this is some sort of plague that only targets celebrities. :help:
I would never buy any of the stuff he pushed, and the volume was always too high and annoying, but the guy liked what he did and he had a sense of humor. Hence the great ESPN 360 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWPwrIVk6v4&feature=related) ads.

Honestly, I hated him a first. Then my dad pointed out that he "had it made": he made money by shouting, and he made money doing what he loved. I was just coming around to Billy Mays and then... he dies.
I'm honestly sad. The man may have been a nutcase, but he meant it all, and he got paid to mean it all. RIP, and I salute you, mr. Mays.
