Just curious, how many EB players did roleplay a sucessfull bribery?
As far as I know, Force Diplomacy can't be used for bribes.

Just think how to bribe someone else easily, than just add_money 40000 twice, and get your top notch diplomat... and hope for the best... after that, add_money -40000 repeat until 0
Anyone here experienced with bribery attempts and roleplay it?

Okay, but that's different from FD. I've done that before, mainly to get rid of rebels, but then I started to simply send out a single unit and auto_win the battle. I haven't actually RP-ed any bribes.

Play as the Romans you'll soon get to a point where you have to stop yourself bribing anyone.
I would sometimes bribe those annoying little armies the AI fields, especially after smashing the main army, I regarded them as little tribal groups easily swayed by Roman gold.
House rule was they had to be immediately disbanded, the disloyal little money grabbers:furious3:

I have bribed via FD many times to save my time in my mod testing campaigns.
but in normal I never bribe them, instead kill'em all :beam:

But it was just an example case
You see an interesting enemy / neutral FM, with several "disloyal" traits... and you want to pick this guy for your own good... and his own sake (rather than face certain death). And u just had 20k on your treasury... u hit him w your top notch diplomat, and it was very irritating to have them bribed only in 40% occasion (used to 50% but sightly more rejection)....
So must i use add_money 40000. add_money 40000, for just one guy?

Never thought of it before. But I will, now that you said... It sounds good, especially when you are a RP like most of us out here.

does not try it they got stuck in the city and die later.
if you find a roaming rebel or general bribe him and never put him into a city but methinks if they they do not die they may CTD. no idea why ...
Just RP that as the population of a settlement not liking Generals from another culture, thus assassinating him. If I was to bribe another factions General I would use him as an allied army commander, though I would rather use an allied General, unless for extreme RP'ing purposes.
