Anyone else get - or can explain - the strange pennant of the modern German flag which appears on Maratha ships after they go Republican?

That's not the modern German flag(=> :germany:), it's the flag of India :india:

Sorry, crap pic, haven't used Imageshack for a bit. Its just to the lower right of the modern Indian flag, it's a pennant, you know, triangular.:beam:

You made a pic that mostly has ocean it. When you are pointing out something other then ocean, that's not all that helpful. I can't make anything out.
Try a pic where the pennant is more prominent. Oh, and better lit would be nice too.

Are you perhaps referring to the artifact that's in the bottom right of the ship's icon?
Yeah, that's new in the patch. Seems some other texture is overlapping on the Indian texture.

Would be an ideal situation but it's only occurred once and the ship went down about 10 seconds later. Suppose you had to be there really, I'll just have to wait for a sunnier day.:embarassed:

There, not a lot better at the settings I have to play at but it's visible. One of a fleet of 3, all with the same pennant/overlay/whatever.

It's hard to make out what exactly it is, though definitely not a German pennant. Maybe the edge of an explosion graphic?
I've seen it too, so it's not just you, seen it on all Indian Republic ships after 1.3.

Graphic bug. That's annoying. You shouldn't have told me about this, now I'll be annoyed whenever I play a sea battle and see those things floating in mid-air. :no::laugh4:

I played the Ottomans, Greeks revolted at Morea and they had FINNISH flag :D Damn I laughed hard.
