i was listening to the Back in Black album (love that album!) and i was thinking: do most people refer to the band as AC/DC, AC-DC, or ACDC?

i think AC/DC, due to the thunderbolt between AC and DC.

In the words of Otto from the Simpsons, "No man, you forgot the little lightning bolt in between."

AC/DC it is.

It's AC/DC, period. No point in having a discussion about it, really...

The name is take from an AC/DC-converter(alternate current to direct current). Take a look at acdc.com, it's always spelled AC/DC. The slash(or lightning bolt) represents the converter. You have an alternating current on one side, then the current goes through the converter(/), and it's a direct current coming out on the other side.

well, apparently some people dont realize that, because sometimes songs will appear on my ipod as AC-DC. its quite annoying.

What is it the Aussies call them? Accadacca? Anyway, saw them on Sunday night with 80000 other lucky souls. Just wanted to slip that in.

Oh, AC/DC is the only possible answer.

It was pretty awesome, I seemed to be miles away from the stage but having seen them recently (right at the front row) I wasn't bothered. Outdoor festival type concerts are more about the craic and the atmosphere, like walking the last 7 miles as the buses just weren't moving and the fact that it started lashing down halfway through the set.

No more single-band threads, please, unless someone important has died.
