Hello,

I've got playing long and long with the Epeiros and I've managed to see two possible non-logic items that are existing in the towns:

1. In the barbarian zones I've conquered, I have the barracks building which practically does nothing - only the "foreign" barracks allows you to build barbarian troops. My question is, if it does nothing, why isn't it automatically disabled/made invisible?

2. Secondly, I've conquered some towns in which appears many goverment buildings that are like 99% destroyed. It was the town of Antioch that contained about 5 types of goverment: 2 of the seleukids, 2 of the ptolemai and one of pontos. Is this normal? I think there is no "logic" in having x goverment buildings in the same town!

Thanks!

You can destroy the barracks that are useless to you and earn some money from it. I think the barracks itself have mentioned it.

The 99% damage governments are intended to be destroyed so you cannot cheat but need to build your own government building. But because it is hardcoded I think, the engine doesn't allowed it to be totally destroyed, so you need to do it manually. The reason why there are 5 types of governments is because or may be the settlement had been conquered by several factions, so they build their own government, but ai cannot destroy it manually unlike us, the HUMAN.

u took a foriegn place, hardly any greeks live there, and you and your army's probably the first greeks to arrive.

Now you try to recruit some greeks in your factional manner to bolster your ranks, you find that you cannot establish such systems works, I wonder why is that?

1. It may be that the higher levels of factional barracks offer some units, but in non-expansion territory you can generally not recruit your own peoples units anyway. Use the regional barracks instead. It's not possible to disable non-productive barracks (technically it is, but it requires a load of work and a massive expansion of the building data file; and EB is already slow to load on many computers).

2. As chenkai11 said, destroy all foreign governments and place your own.
