After too many Romani campaigns where the "lover of beauty" line of traits has kept most of my FMs from becoming Consul I decided to do something about it. I thought editing the trait would be simpler than taking the command requirement away from the Consul position. I changed the command penalty to a management penalty.
I have edited export_VnVs (I assume that controls the trait description?) and export_descr_character_traits (which I assume controls the actual in-game effects of the traits). A little voice is telling me I have forgotten something, is there anything else I need to do?

edit: realised what that little voice was trying to tell me, I used notepad to edit and it CTDed on starting a new campaign. Replaced edited files with back ups and edited with notepad ++ and it seems to be ok, haven't had anybody get the trait though.

If anybody wants to try it just unpack into your EB folder. Just a warning that I'm not 100% sure it works properly as I haven't had anyone get the trait yet. I'll update here when I know.

If anybody is interested I can confirm the changes work as intended.

Ill try it out, and tell you what I think. Btw, the "lover of beauty" trait, are romans the only ones that get it?

No, I have seen all "civilised" faction get it (at least the Hellenes&Romans, but I am pretty certain Qarthadastim are not immune either), and I have no idea about nomads/"barbarians".
