Snake stood (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNL_76gaCI4&feature=related) in the shadow of the crate, looking around the corner he saw several guards and a couple of security cameras. Nothing the world's greatest solo sneaking operative couldn't handle. He pulled out his bionoculars and focused them at the heavy looking hanger doors, and saw his main target, the leader of the Shadow Moses insurrection, Liquid Snake (https://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo342/Hark34/Liquid_Snake.jpg), the only man in foxhound with the same codename as him. Standing behind liquid was a rather large man, no a rather gigantic man with a huge gun strapped to his back. Snake surmised this to be Vulcan Raven (https://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s68/Xaldin_Saix/VulcanRaven21.jpg?t=1248391065), Foxhound's heavy weapons specialist and resident shaman.

"He'll be through here, keep your guard up!" Liquid ordered the men outside. The couple of men outside saluted and went off to their paroling duties. Liquid turned on his heels and walked back into the complex, while Vulcan Raven stood in place and peered out into the cold, before turning around and following Liquid.

Snake gripped his Mk23 SOCOM, his favorite pistol, he pulled the slide back and flipped the safety off, the mission had begun.

As the hanger doors closed, snake made his move and sprinted up a flight of stairs, flipping a guard on his back and knocked him out. He dropped into a prone position and began crawling into a small vent on the second floor of the building. He wasn't sure where it would lead, but he could hopefully gain entry into some part of the building from here...

Inside the tank hanger the members of Foxhound all stood around, in silence.

"Well?" Revolver Ocelot broke the silence, "Anything?"

"I have foreseen his arrival, he is either here now, or he will be shortly." Vulcan Raven said calmly.

"Yes," Liquid Snake followed with, "He is here, and we have made our move, for now we must wait for him to make his." Liquid continued walking past the tanks and through the large door marked "Level 5" in front of him, "For now we can sit back and wait," the door opened slowly and liquid walked straight through it and out the other side.

The members of Foxhound looked around at each other, that night the mighty jaws of a snake would clamp down, whose throat would it be on? An unnerving air sat on them, and they all silently agreed to disperse for the night. Each of them hoping it wasn't their night.

Role PMs are starting out as I speak, it will be a night phase which WILL last 24 hours, mostly to cover myself and make sure everything gets out.

Role PMs are still being sent out, so I figured I'd take the time to put out formal rules adjusted to how the whole PM process is going. Some tweaking has been done so I'm sorry for any inconveniences.

Rules:

1) There will be no quoting of any PMs I send to you, no exceptions.
1a) There will be no screenshots, for any reason whatsoever.

2) The dead may not reveal their roles, their motives, their PMs, or anything that I or they have not said in the thread

3) Voting:

The standard fare.

Vote: Splitpersonality, bolded votes
Unvote: Splitpersonality Bolded unvotes, which are required for voting, I would also appreciate if you said who you unvoted.
Vote: No Lynch is also allowed, and will be counted as that.

Tally will run as usual, i'm not going to ask you to be crazy about it.

4) Inactivity:

If you're interested in keeping your spot, at least abstain/no lynch vote, as missing 2 consecutive voting phases will get you replaced. Exceptions may or may not be made depending on the state of people's internets. Once I'm out of replacements I will just WoG people, and that is not a pretty thing to do in a game of this size, so please don't make me do this. :thumbsdown:

5) Broken Rules:

Sometimes accidents happen, and I can totally sympathize with that, if you mess up and say something you shouldn't have, own up to it and say something to me, I would like everyone to come to me if a mistake is made as well, and if I make any mistakes I'll own up to them to. If I find out of any intentionally broken rules, mostly talking of the

As the elevator lowered, the man strapped his gasmask on, and places his protective hood over the back of his head, he quickly checked the seal, making sure it was airtight, and being happy with how it was, he let it be. The elevator stopped at his floor, and beeped as it's doors opened quickly. The man stepped off and checked his mask's seal once more, before stepping through the door in front of him. He turned to his left and flipped off the electric panel, then watched through the glass door as the electrified floor turned off, he walked on down this powered down floor, and hung a left. Pausing only to look up and give a wave to the one security cam between here and his destination. The security camera only responded with a high pitched "Whirrrrrrrr..." as it turned 60 degrees to it's left. The man nodded back, "I know how you feel buddy, at least we're relatively warm in here though, the poor guys that gotta patrol outside, it must suck for them eh?" The camera responded with another high pitched "Whirrrrrrrr..." and it turned 60 degrees to it's right. "Yeah, anyway I gotta get going, gotta check on that doctor fellow. I'll see you later," and he walked through the door and out of sight of the camera.

The man was Splitpersonality, one of the building's NBC Troopers, trained in dealing with and the disposal of nuclear weapons, his orders at the time were to relieve the guards watching over Hal Emmerich in the basement of the storage building. As split walked down the hallway, he waved to a couple of guys he knew, some of them were sitting around, some slumped against the wall, he walked up to one fellow trooper who was reaching for him, and grabbed his hand and shook it, he then turned and saw a man sitting down on the floor next to him "Oh hey YLC and pevergreen! Ha ha! You guys know we're not supposed to party this hard on duty, come on we're going to get in trouble!" YLC collapsed on the floor and panted heavily, "Alright cool I'll catch you later man, get some rest!" Split hummed to himself as he walked down the hallway and up to Hal's door, he held up his PAL card to get into the level 2 room, but it didn't budge. "Hmm... that's odd," he said, looking at the card reader, it was sparking and spewing smoke out of it, "Oh damnit, I think I took my level 2 card instead of my level 3, damnit!" Split kicked the door, but he seemed to miss, he tilted his head and felt his hands out in front of him, they seemed to touch something.... Something metal, like the door but not as.... he couldn't describe it, but it felt almost.... human? Huh, well whatever he still needed to get his key card either way, he turned on his heels and began to walk away, but something tugged at him.... his strange feeling in the pit of his stomach nagged him to sit down, and rest for a minute, these other guys weren't going anywhere either, they could cover for him and say he was relieving them if they were caught, he dreadfully needed a nap anyway. So he reached forward for the wall and slid down it, sitting, he saw a sword in the air and the last thing he thought was "Cool... I should get me one of those..."

The man who had stabbed him simply shook his head, "Bunch of idiots..." he flicked the blood off his sword and disappeared once more.

Snake crawled on through the vent shaft, looking for an exit, so far all he had seen were dead ends and rats crawling around. At some point he began following them, surely the rats would know a way out right? Right, so snake followed them and came across a vent just large enough for him to see through. He saw a couple of guards and tried to listen in...

"Moved..... first floor basement....." was all he could make out.

"Damnit," snake thought, "I can't hear a thing... wait a minute" and snake flicked a switch on his codec, turning the subtitles on. "That oughta do it..." He looked down at the guards again...

"それらは一階の地階に高等研究企画庁の責任者、および貯蔵倉の地階に他のprisionerを移動した。" he saw at the bottom of the screen as the guard talked.

"Damn! Japanese!" snake grumbled as he fiddled with the switches again, "This better do it..." he mumbled, looking back down at the guards...

"Did you hear something?" One guard said, looking around. "Whatever anyway, like I was saying. They moved the DARPA chief to the first floor basement and that nerd is still in the basement of the nuke storage building."

"Yeah," the other guard replied, "I heard they're going to move him soon, some whack-job in stealth camo went and killed pevergreen, YLC, and Splitpersonality last night... Hell of a mess down there, not even a shot fired though... this guy must've been really fast, and really good. Those were some smart guys down there, some of the best of us... their line of sight was supposed to be up to 20 feet in front of them!"

The other soldier scoffed at that, "That's just a rumor, I bet their line of sight is really narrow, even if it is that long, pssh... Anyway, the vents are open now, and they're going to start spraying for rats soon... Glad I don't have that job,"

"Yeah me too, those rats are vicious little things, say what're you doing later? I'm thinking of going downstairs and patroling around a pre-set rectangular path, you up for it?" one inquired.

"Nah man, I need to go downstairs and patrol around in a figure eight while avoiding setting off the trap-doors we have down there. Why the hell do we have those anyway?"

"Beats me, where do they even go?"

"I'm not sure I want to know... Anyway see you later," and one soldier turned and walked the opposite way.

"Hmmm.... Open vent," snake mumbled, losing interest in the guards he looked straight ahead and saw, lo and behold, an opening in the vent. He climbed down it and started into his mission, he ran down the pathway and was almost to the stairs when he came face to face with his mortal enemy.

A Surveillance Camera?!?!

Snake checked his inventory and realized he forgot to pick up chaff grenades earlier, all he had was his Socom, his cigarettes, and his trusty Cardboard Box A.

"Hmm...." snake wondered, he looked to his right and saw an open door, it looked like a storage room, figuring this a good place to hide, he equipped the box and found a corner to nestle into for the day. At least until he could figure out how to deal with that damned camera...

Beskar was doing his job watching over the control room door, making sure no one got in or out without being at the very least, seen. His vigilant gaze had saved Foxhound on numerous occasions, but on this day, for some arbitrary reason, the blame for the killings had been placed on him.

He thought long and hard about his life, his cold and uncaring birth into this world, only to be dragged away and stationed in some cold frozen wasteland, only to die at the hands of the men he pledged loyalty to. He was a silent man, and as such had no arguments for them, he was sure that one of the men voting for him was snake, the :daisy:-hole, he was getting revenge on him, Beskar knew just why he would want to.

As he watched in front of him, the large group stood waiting on the other side of the bulletproof glass, he couldn't make out what they were saying, but he knew just what they meant.

Lynch beskar, he's scum! He's disgusting, he doesn't talk enough! He's a cult leader, a lush, a degenerate! He's horrible, he's evil and wicked and smells quite bad too! Boo on you beskar, BOO on you, how dare you stand silent watch over our domain and keep us safe while we sleep! He's guilty I tell you! We must bandwaggon him for his use of internet sites such as random.org! He's a menace! He just watched as split died!

He couldn't bear to watch, he did the only thing he could. He turned away from them, he knew what was coming anyway, and he cared none to see it...

"So," Liquid piped up, "It's decided then, Ocelot will take care of the execution, since he is good with this kind of torture stuff."

Ocelot scratched the back of his head, "Yeah but boss... I really don't know how to torture him... Believe me I've been thinking about it long and hard, but I've never seen him express any emotions, will he even feel pain?"

A couple of the NBC troops looked at each other and shrugged, the group seemed to agree that they had no idea if it was possible, they had all worked with him.

"I don't care, just end him Ocelot!" Liquid yelled.

"Fine geez, alright everyone has to watch though." Ocelot said, motioning for them to all follow him.

"Alright is everybody ready?" Ocelot inquired, he had laid out on the table some quite humiliating objects, including a tomato, wire cutters, needle nosed pliers, a DVD remote, handcuffs, and a taser.

Beskar could now hear them clearly, he was afraid of ocelot, he had watched him torture before and it was never pretty.

"Any last words?" Ocelot asked his poor victim.

Beskar slowly and solemnly shook his head, he let out a small noise , he turned 60 degrees to the right, then 60 degrees to the left, the room he had guarded his entire life was still safe, so maybe he had done something right in the end, and that was condolence enough.

"All right!" Ocelot shouted, and he got into his routine, he started by just throwing the objects at Beskar, but they simply bounced off. He tased beskar, but it had no effect. He pointed the DVD remote at beskar, but it did nothing either. He even tried handcuffing beskar, but he had nowhere else to handcuff him to.

After hours of trying Ocelot was exhausted, everyone else was bored, and Beskar was still alive.

"Wait wait wait, I've got one more thing!" Ocelot tried to stall for more time.

Psycho Mantis walked in with a cup of coffee, which he somehow managed to drink through his gasmask's filter, "What are you doing in here?"

Ocelot panted, for some reason he was very winded, "Trying.... trying to.... kill..." he pointed to Beskar, "Be...beskar.."

"Oh for christ-sakes," Psycho mantis said, slapping his hand against his gasmask. "Am I the only mentally capable person here?"

Mantis floated up into the air and looked straight into Beskar's face, he placed one hand behind him and he ripped Beskar straight off of the wall and threw him onto the floor.

In his final throes of death he saw Snake in the background, smiling and laughing at him, it seems that snake was still out there, and had finally won the age old battle. Night 1 Writeup, as promised

AVSM sat meditating in his room, the ravens around him were his only company. He was trying to clearly forsee what would happen, but it was still coming out hazy. It was quiet, save for the raven's fluttering and cawing, but Raven sensed something else.

"I know you're here," raven opened his eyes and picked up his minigun, that he took from a plane, "SHOW YOURSELF!" He shouted.

A strange noise was made, and a figure materialized in front of him, he his head and drew his blades, "Humm.... you seem to be more... perceptive than the rest of them.... it's a shame you must die now." He said, charging headlong at Raven.

Raven, lifted his gun and began firing it, several rounds bounced off of the ninja-like creature's armor, one round however pierced through his arm, wounding him.

"Agh!" he shouted, he began vibrating, "What! What!" he began running at raven even faster, "Whatdoneyouhavehaveyoudonewhat."

Raven placed his gun down and turned around to run, his shots doing nothing. He decided to try and book it, but his massive size made it quite difficult to outrun a freaking ninja. Especially one that was crazy, and vibrating.

The hulking shaman stopped running, he willed his legs to move, but they refused. He began falling backwards, and as he looked down he saw his legs fall forward, he looked up as he stood over him, the ninja had stopped vibrating and opened his face-mask.

"Y..ou...?" Raven whispered, as things began to fade. The man sheathed his sword and began walking away.

Raven tried to follow him, but could only do so with his eyes, he watched him walk out as his vision blurred and everything became... hazy.... Hazy? He though...... A moment of clarity stuck him, at last he realized what he had seen in his meditation, all the haze, all the confusion, he was seeing himself die each time.

The last thing he thought before he died was, "Why didn't those :daisy: birds help me?"

Basically, I felt that it was time to start voting someone that was on that list.

Caius was already put up for the lynch, so voting for any other candidate in that situation, would just practically be throwing away my vote, no?

Actually, my point about the scumwagon is that half of it is on the "scum" list anyway (as you pointed out- ATPG and white_eyes). So, statistically speaking, if we are to believe the list, there's a greater chance that one of the people voting for Caius is mafia than it actually being Caius.

So, in effect, the whole bandwagon vote and its defining reasons are hypocritical.

Personally, I'm not sure if we should believe that hint in the first place. I give it a 50% chance that says Beskar was in a delusional state when he "saw" Snake in the group that voted for him.

Finally, if anyone's been reading the write-ups closely enough and has any knowledge of Metal Gear, Snake is not the one who's been killing. Instead, it's a "cyborg ninja"- this could be either Gray Fox or Raiden, as both fit that category. This means we have another enemy to worry about; one who hasn't been hinted towards in lynch write-ups at all.

For the record... I never said he saw him in the group, he saw snake inside the control room, which is logical because all of the players were in the control room. Beskar's thoughts are not something you should 100% trust either, after all you killed him for a reason. :laugh4:

The men cast their ballots, and they all turned to look at their target, Caius. He was by all accounts a pretty normal looking guard, but everyone in the room knew he was a deadly killer deep inside.

"Hmm..." Liquid thought, "How can we lure him into isolation while we get things ready?"

Then it hit him, it was such a genius plan, only he could've thought of it!

As Caius looked around the room he smiled a beaming smile. You see, Caius was always the guy stuck on guard duty for the jail cells, sitting outside, walking around, yelling "Shut up in there!" when the prisoners got too loud, he found the entire "jail cell guard" bit quite, droll. But what was happening now was amazing, a first time experience! He had to make sure he took notes, but the excitement was overwhelming, he might even get a promotion!

There was a knock at the door, and Caius readied his FAMAS and answered it with an authoritative, "Who's there?"

A loud smack was heard from the other side of the door, much like a hand smacking it's owner in the face. "I told you he wasn't just going to come out for us! He's playing mind games now, the dirty snake." Ocelot said to someone else on his side

"You idiots," Mantis said, "I'll get him..."

The door exploded open and a very powerful force compelled Caius to lie down and sleep.

Everything was white and hazy, and Caius couldn't move his limbs, he felt like he was lying down on a table. "Oh no..." he wondered, "Did I get drunk at one of the guard parties again? Oh I hope I didn't embarrass myself..." but something interrupted his train of thought, it was a bright white light and two shadowy figures.

"No more accidents..." he heard a voice... liquid? "I don't want you killing him like you killed the DARPA chief.... Well no actually what you did to the DARPA chief was pretty cool, but could you make it a bit more painful?"

"Yes boss," he heard... ocelot reply? "I'll actually will the electricity surging through his body to hurt more just because you asked me to... Because that is definitely possible.."

"Good, we'll be watching through the glass, behind me." Caius heard a door open, and close. Then he felt a hand striking his face.

"Wake up." Ocelot said in a grim voice.

Caius was now groggy, but awake. He heard a whirring as the table he was on tilted forward, before him Caius saw the town behind a glass window, and Ocelot to his right. In the upper right hand corner he saw two... bars? A Greenish one and a blueish one... What were those?

He yawned loudly, it echoed in the small cold room.

"Sleep well?" Ocelot said sarcastically.

"Well actually yeah, this big table thing is pretty comfortable,"

"Glad to hear it," Ocelot said back.

"Where.... where are my clothes?" Caius said, looking down he realized he was naked, save for a pair of underpants.

"Don't worry... it's all here, not that you'll be needing it..." Ocelot smirked and laughed.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Caius said, nervously.

"We're going to play a game snake... and we'll find out what kind of man you really are..." Ocelot said, stepping behind a large console.

He continued, "When the pain becomes too great to bear... just give up, but if you do your life is mine. Well... if you don't I'm going to kill you anyway, just saying..."

Ocelot then cleared his throat, "Press the circle button repeatedly to regain your strength. When you've had enough press the Select button to submit. When your life reaches zero, the game is over. There are no continues my friend..."

Ocelot cracked his knuckles, "I'm going to run a high voltage electric current through your body, if it's just for a short time it won't kill you."

"Okay..." Ocelot pressed a button, "Let's get started."

Caius saw the two bars on his right again. The green one read.... Johnny.... Sasaki? His name?! Was this the life bar ocelot mentioned? It wasn't very long....

The other one read.... time? The time he would be shocked? Holy :daisy: that bar is long! He turned to his left and saw a large box... He spoke what he saw... "Circle..... restore life... Select.... submit? What the heck is this?! Why are you doing this to m-"

but he was quickly cut off by a jolt of electricity streaming through his body, Johnny saw his lifebar fall but he had no idea how to press circle. It seemed his fate was sealed.

The last thing he thought was, "Why didn't anyone try to help me?"

Dr. Naomi Hunter is sitting in her room, in the dead of night, looking over the plans laid out before her. She rubs her eyes wearily before a force compels her to stand up and do a dance. Atheotes begins dancing around the room, before sitting down in his chair again.

All of a sudden Psycho Mantis appears in front of him, he tries to move but can only watch as mantis shouts something, Atheotes only catches parts of it.

Psycho mantis then decides it would be a good idea to show Dr. Hunter his wonderful powers.

He places a Playstation controller on the floor and waves his arms around like a lunatic, amazingly the controller doesn't move at all. Mantis looks embarassed but walks out of the room nonetheless.

On his way out he bumps shoulders with a rather large, metallic, invisible fellow.

He mumbles sorry to the man and continues walking back to his room.

The large cybernetic man dropped to his knees and opened his faceplate.

Tears were streaming down his face, "I'm sorry Naomi! I'm sorry." the large man bawled like a small baby. "It was me! I was the one who killed your parents!"

"F....frank?!" Naomi shouted, she hadn't seen her brother in so long, well technically she'd never seen him because someone killed her entire family, this guy adopted her though so he was good enough to be her brother. "What are you talking about?"

Frank took a deep breath, "I killed your parents! I was young then, and couldn't bring myself to kill you too... I felt so bad I decided to take you with me, and I raised you like you were my own blood, to sooth my own guilty conscience. Even now you call me your brother.... but everytime I look at you, I see your parents faces..... but now I've come to a realization....." Frank tried to regain his composure as he stood up.

Atheotes, obviously shocked by this revelation, stood up and hugged fox. "What.... what realization is that?"

"You're not my family..." he said, as he ran Atheotes through with his sword, "...So you don't matter at all..."

He pulled the sword out and walked out of the room, looking back over his shoulder one last time at the closest thing to a family he's ever had.

Atheotes/Dr. Naomi Hunter is now dead.

ATPG was in the mess hall, enjoying a nice sandwich. Being the main badguy of the series, he had to, of course, shout this to every person near him at any chance he could get.

"This is really a delicious sandwich." everyone in the hall paused and looked at him, then went back to the food.

"I mean really, delicious," he stated more forcefully, everyone just ignored him this time.

He jumped up onto the table, "I daresay, I've never had a better sandwich in all of my years at foxhound." A couple of men stood up and walked out of the room, not wanting to deal with this again.

ATPG Carefully opened the sandwich and pulled out the cheese, "I mean really, look at the quality craftsmanship of this swiss arrangement! Only a truly masterful chef could have made such a marvel!" Some more guards walked out.

"Well fine!" he shouted at them, "If you don't want to hear me maybe I'll just keel over and..."

Before he could finish, his sentence, or his sandwich, he felt a rush of adrenaline hit him, his heart was pumping harder than ever, and it hurt. No! ATPG shouted, "It can't be like in the game! I can't be killed off by foxdie, oh blast it!"

He fell backwards off the table and lie dead on the ground, of a heart attack.

Yaropolk had arrived back at his room a bit ago, and he was growing restless now. He wanted to make more insignificant peons dance with his mighty mantis powers, and he knew exactly who.

He hastily walked down the hallway, went down the elevator, and hovered over the electrified floor., straight to the room of Dr. Hal Emmerich, the little whelp.

As he approached the door, he chose instead to peer inside and check up on what was happening, since he was, you know, the best psychic guy in the freaking world, he could kinda just get away with that kind of stuff.

Inside the room he sensed two people, and if he pressed his ear to the door, he could almost hear them....

"Are you going to get out of that closet anytime soon.... You know I could help you figure things out, after such a big thing I'm sure everyone needs a friend..." he heard a gruff voice say.

'I'm... I'm okay..." a wimpy voice said, probably Dr. Emmerich, "Things just moved a little fast for me that's all... Just give me a minute...."

"Yeah, I'll say they moved fast, you ended up staining the carpet!" he gruff voice said back, chuckling.

"Shut up! You would too in that kind of situation... I was just... so surprised, how could such a big thing slip in unnoticed!" Dr. Emmerich again.

"Here... let me help."

Yaropolk then heard some strange noises, sounded like cloth on cloth, skin on.... skin? Oh no! This was against employee regulations, as well as prisoner ones!

He had made sure that any sexual activity had been brainwashed out of the heads of the guards, as he held a special hate for sexual activity. He burst the door open with a powerful psychic shot.

"Hey! What're you doing in here!" he shouted loudly.

Inside the room stood Snake, Dr. Hal Emmerich, a large man-sized locker with a urine stain on the ground near it, and a bunch of computers. Snake's hand was holding Dr. Emmerich's as he lifted him up off the floor and he was carrying him out of the room.

"Oh..... OH..." he said, "Okay carry on," he said, turning around to try and leave, but a bullet from Snake's socom ceased that plan.

All of the following info is public knowledge, I am not revealing anything learned as Mantis.

According to MGS story the FoxDie virus. In the video game Hunter injects it into Solid Snake, and he spreads it all over the compound, killing off most of the Foxhound gang. I bet that's what killed ATPG. Her brother is Grey Fox (cyborg Ninja) who is clearly working with Snake.

Well, it might prevent us from lynching one of them. I'd say that's a fair amount of help. That means you've got a 50/50 shot of hitting the guilty parties. Seems like a good idea.

revealing or no revealing, it is only a % chance of getting the killer right...
i think it is better to hold off for now and reveal only if one of the confirmed innocents get targeted... and they can work together anyways... :shrug:

I am going to state this now to end the confusion. There are two lynches that will continue the game.

It seems the above part is unclear, at least to me. There is no lynch today that will outright make the town lose, but the night actions of groups with them will continue, regardless of who is lynched. Caius was now groggy, but awake. He heard a whirring as the table he was on tilted forward, before him Caius saw the town behind a glass window, and Ocelot to his right. In the upper right hand corner he saw two... bars? A Greenish one and a blueish one... What were those?

He yawned loudly, it echoed in the small cold room.

"Sleep well?" Ocelot said sarcastically.

"Well actually yeah, this big table thing is pretty comfortable,"

"Glad to hear it," Ocelot said back.

"Where.... where are my clothes?" Caius said, looking down he realized he was naked, save for a pair of underpants.

"Don't worry... it's all here, not that you'll be needing it..." Ocelot smirked and laughed.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Caius said, nervously.

"We're going to play a game snake... and we'll find out what kind of man you really are..." Ocelot said, stepping behind a large console.

He continued, "When the pain becomes too great to bear... just give up, but if you do your life is mine. Well... if you don't I'm going to kill you anyway, just saying..."

Ocelot then cleared his throat, "Press the circle button repeatedly to regain your strength. When you've had enough press the Select button to submit. When your life reaches zero, the game is over. There are no continues my friend..."

Ocelot cracked his knuckles, "I'm going to run a high voltage electric current through your body, if it's just for a short time it won't kill you."

"Okay..." Ocelot pressed a button, "Let's get started."

Caius saw the two bars on his right again. The green one read.... Johnny.... Sasaki? His name?! Was this the life bar ocelot mentioned? It wasn't very long....

The other one read.... time? The time he would be shocked? Holy that bar is long! He turned to his left and saw a large box... He spoke what he saw... "Circle..... restore life... Select.... submit? What the heck is this?! Why are you doing this to m-"

but he was quickly cut off by a jolt of electricity streaming through his body, Johnny saw his lifebar fall but he had no idea how to press circle. It seemed his fate was sealed.

The last thing he thought was, "Why didn't anyone try to help me?"

As you can see, he is clearly said to be Solid Snake. Why would he be confused about his own "name" 'Johnny Sasaki'? Additionally, why would he wonder why didn't anyone help him is obviously because he has friends, namely, the mafia.

Sure, it could be a clue, but I don't think our host would give such obvious clues. I think it's "snake" as an insult; not as a clue. The game would be too easy with such obvious clues. Besides, I've hosted some games where everybody was busy looking for clues in my write-ups and I think that about one 1 on 10 of the so-called clues they found was a real one.

I don't think Caius was mafia.

When did he block white_eyes? If I recall, Snake did not kill two nights ago. That evidence could condemn him, rather than clear him. If it was last night, I agree he's pretty much clear. If not, than the opposite is probably true.

If you want my role: I am an NBC Trooper. I believe, given Andres' description of his, we have exactly the same role pm. If you want, I can give a few details that he left out, and then he can confirm that he has them, too.

I would like to extend this phase again, to help further discussion, because this is a critical round. If anything it will be a 12 hour one.

I'll adress some stuff now.

What andres put in the thread is okay, as it's a paraphrase, chaotix as well.

Caius had a FAMAS because that was the standard weapon for the genome army. He is called a snake because when you lynch someone you generally lynch whomever you think if the mafia, hence why they believed him to be snake. It's also a general insult from ocelot.

On the topic of cover role PMs... I will say nothing more than this, as a general rule you should always assume there are ones.

I'm very upset with tratorix's lack of participation, I'm afraid to say too much so I don't confirm him either way, but replacing him would be difficult, as I don't know if Taka will be here on time, and I also don't want to kill him

To explain the "Dude we're the mafia," Mantis did not recieve part of his role pm stating that he gets a townie vote every day, and my reasoning for that is "writing 3 hours of role PMs boggles your mind," and I think that's reason enough.

I have asked GH for another 12 hours extension, and it will probably be all the time the town gets to deliberate.

DIY is the only person i am 100% sure is innocent. Since he voted for chaotix for his final vote, everyone else should as well. Any other candidate can be manipulated by mafia vote! Sorry if you are innocent chaotix, but its the safest step at this point. Additionally not voting in line with diy is suspicious as it helps mafia.

Edit: To illustrate:

If Chaotix is innocent and votes aren't focused on him, mafia can still BW their votes on top of DIY and innocent dies.

If Chaotix is guilty, and votes aren't focused on him, mafia can BW someone else to save him.

The only way to take the reigns out of mafia hands is to BW Chaotix. Sorry buddy.

You understand, I will oppose this vehemently, because not only do I know I am innocent (and therefore, you will all lose if you lynch me instead of someone else), but it also states in my role pm that I have to survive in order to win.

Furthermore, I agree with the logic that DiY is innocent (if perhaps misguided in his logic), and I am not voting for him, nor will I be. I suggest we go for someone who hasn't even shown up to defend himself, as it doesn't seem that split will be WoG'ing; this game is too short and it would be a detriment to the town anyway.

I have replaced Tratorix, but have not recieved his role PM, so I can't properly weigh in on whether or not I am guilty.

As far as I know, I wouldn't trust Chaotix - I'm fairly sure he is Ocelot, and Ocelot was the greatest traitor in the entire series to the bad guys, whom we are playing.

Ninja is still on the loose, I haven't seen Sniper Wolf killed yet, and then their is Snake himself. There is also the possibility that someone is liquid as well.

I have replaced Tratorix, but have not recieved his role PM, so I can't properly weigh in on whether or not I am guilty.

As far as I know, I wouldn't trust Chaotix - I'm fairly sure he is Ocelot, and Ocelot was the greatest traitor in the entire series to the bad guys, whom we are playing.

Ninja is still on the loose, I haven't seen Sniper Wolf killed yet, and then their is Snake himself. There is also the possibility that someone is liquid as well.

A 1 vote tie is not good. If there are still 2 (3?) mafiosi alive, then all they have to do is to unvote and vote right before deadline.

From what they alluded to, I believe Chaotix and johnhughthom to have the same role pm as me.

I've seen many townie networks getting infiltrated before, but the quicktopic seems conclusive evidence; it would be a bit too unlikely that it was all fake, so Unvote : Death is Yonder.

It's the only option left. If the game doesn't end with your lynch, then the mafia is probably among those on the quicktopic.

Eh, mostly because she was and is rather important throughout the Metal Gear Series. Also, Split approached me with the game eons ago, and I offered my advice. He took it, and from what I gathered, it was rather similar to what I suggested.

Which means Snake went and recruited someone - either Hal or Meryl.

Round's over.

Location: The torture room, once again.

Once more everyone had gathered around, in an attempt to weed out snake and other threats to the insurrection. With Liquid and the rest of foxhound, sans Revolver Ocelot, dead, this would be an easy task, right?

In his final breaths, AskTheLiquidSnake had revealed his secret group's notes from their sessions, and everyone had a good rummage through them. The notes seemed to clear Ocelot from any wrongdoing, but no one seemed to interested in him anyway, they were all glaring at a singular man standing in the corner, he had not spoken even once since the insurrection. Finally ocelot walked over and removed his gas mask.

Inside the suit was no one, the man who was supposed to be standing guard had apparently never showed up, instead placing this clever ruse here, Ocelot called for YLC to come in as a replacement.

Once this was out of the way, people began again shifting blame on the replacement soldier, it seemed he was guilty by the fact that he was replaced, even though they all knew the host would never replace a mafia member this deep into the game.

One trooper stepped forward, his gruff voice was easily heard through the gas mask.

"How can you be so sure that you're the innocent ones Foxhound?"

"Because it says so IN the evidence," Ocelot answered him back, "Maybe your lack of careful readings skills means you're the mafia!"

The discussion continued but they seemed to be running out of time, "Can we even reach a conclusion in 2 hours?" Ocelot asked.

Another NBC trooper pointed his FoS at a rather large looking trooper, who didn't seem to fit into the standard gear quite right, the NBC trooper accused him of trying to hide off like Tratorix did.

The man replied in his cold metallic voice, "I was sleeping."

Mantis from beyond the grave advised lynching this trooper, on the grounds that anyone not voting for him could be mafia bandwagoning on the confirmed innocent Revolver Ocelot.

No one seemed to listen to his ideas anyway, so Mantis just left to do dead guy stuff.

The rather normal looking NBC trooper expressed dissatisfaction at the host's explanation for Tratorix's importance, believing him to be mafia, and he promptly voted him.

From there everyone quieted down, simply stating their votes and shallow reasoning behind it. Ocelot himself stepped in at the last minute and placed the tying vote on Johnhughthom.

As the tally now stood at a tie, Ocelot figured it was as good a time as any to bring out his old favorite game. He loaded one bullet into his revolver, and pulled out two others, he began juggling all the guns and pulling the trigger each time, he alternated between pointing the guns at Johnhughthom and YLC the two normalest looking NBC troopers in the room, and there were an awful lot of them in there.

"Any last minute changes?" Ocelot asked,

"Yeah," the large man spoke, "I change my vote to him" and he pointed to johnhughthom

"Fair enough," Ocelot stated, he dropped the two guns and shot johnhughthom dead.

With that over, everyone decided to head in for the night, hoping that if they didn't get the mafia, they would at least kill each other somehow....

It is now night, this phase will last 48 hours, as I will not be around tomorrow to do the writeup. I want the mafia and other people to think long and hard about their choices and be sure of your actions when you give them to me. Thank you.

Location: Basement level 2 of the tank hanger, behind the false wall.

The groggy man opened his eyes and blinked a few times, he wasn't sure where he was. All he knew was his head hurt, and he couldn't move his arms or legs. He looked down, he was tied to a pillar, he looked to his left and saw some wires, and some.... blocks of C4. This was Ocelot's doing, it reeked of his style.

"So you're up eh?" Now he knew it was Ocelot, as he stood in front of him, speaking.

"Thought you could hide away with that optical disc did you?" What was he talking about, what disc?

"Well I'll fix you, when snake comes for you, he'll see you like this and I'll blow you both to hell!" Ocelot then laughed. "All I have to do now, is wait..." and he sat down in a chair.

The man still had no idea what was going on, he sighed and stood where he was.

Several hours later

The door behind ocelot opened quickly, it was a level six door, Ocelot had long since fallen asleep in the chair, and this door's opening failed to awaken him. There was no one in the doorway, just some refracted light.

The invisible figure walked carefully through the doorway, as the door shut behind him he winced, hoping it wouldn't wake ocelot. It didn't.

He stepped carefully across the room and stood in front of the man tied to the pillar, the man had fallen asleep as well.

This invisible man carefully removed the detonators from the C4, the wires still stood in place, but for now they would do nothing. This was good enough for him.

As he removed the stealth camoflage for a minute, the man in front of him woke up.

"You?" he said, looking directly into the white of his eyes, "Saved me?"

"Yup," White_eyes:D said, "I can't let ocelot kill anyone tonight, especially not snake."

"But... I'm not snake..." the tied up man said.

"Whatever," White_eyes:D said, "I'm still helping you out, it doesn't matter. Just be grateful for it," White_eyes:D turned the stealth camouflage back on and began to walk out of the room, but something made him pause. He had this wrenching feeling in his heart, what could this be? Foxdie? Oh no.... no no not now, not yet. He couldn't die, he had to help snake still!

White_eyes:D fell to his knees and reached for the door, he had to try and reach for it, to get to snake. He fell to the floor and died as the door opened.

Dr. Hal Emmerich - White_Eyes:D is now dead.

Snake stood in the doorway, he pulled out his socom and stepped into the room, an empty chair sat in front of him, and there appeared to be tripwires on the collumns, as he stepped trough the door and over the body of his now dead comrade, not even noticing. He waiting for the sound of the door closing behind him. Unfortunately all he heard was the click of a revolver pointed at his head.

"Ahh... snake, I knew you would come for me, but I'm quite prepared, for you," Ocelot waved the explosive detonator at Snake, "So now, I'm going to kill you buddy tied up to the post there."

Snake glanced at the man tied to the post, he was wearing an NBC hood. Snake knew it wasn't Otacon but he would play along anyway.

"Put that down," Ocelot said sternly, "slowly."

Snake slowly placed his socom on the floor and turned to ocelot, they were now face to face. Snake coughed a few times in Ocelot's face.

"That won't work on me snake," ocelot wagged a finger at him, "I'm immune to your silly foxdie."

"But... how? I didn't think diseases really picked sides in wars." Snake replied.

"You see, Foxdie is a new kind of virus, one that attacks it's user based on their specific genetic code," Ocelot laughed, "I'm afraid you're not killing me with it."

"Wait.." Snake was puzzled, "How does a virus recognize your DNA by infecting you? And how can such a disease be passed to the right people without it killing the host?"

"Why don't you ask your friend, Dr Emmerich? He's been infected this whole time, you've been infected this whole time. "and now you and him will die!"

Ocelot pressed down on the detonator, and he and snake dove away from the pillars, expecting a large explosion.

But nothing happened.

Confused by this, Ocelot stood up and began pressing the detonator more and more, "What the...?"

Ocelot pointed his pistol at Snake, "No matter, this will do just the same. Goodbye snake." The door behind ocelot opened, and a blade came down, severing the hand holding the pistol, it was severed quite easily.

"my... MY HAND!" Ocelot shouted, "What have you done," he turned around to face the man who had taken his hand from him, and he was faced by a rather large cybernetic ninja.

Before he could even act, Snake put a bullet through the back of his head, causing more problems than just a missing hand.

Death is Yonder/ Revolver Ocelot is now dead.

"SNAKE!" the ninja shouted, "I've been waiting a long time for this, our final battle, to take place!"

"Fox!" Snake shouted, "It doesn't have to be this way!"

But by that time the ninja had already started charging at him, snake fired a few shots from his socom, but they were easily deflected. The ninja swung at snake horizontally, but snake ducked under it and rolled away, he pulled out his famas and fired it, but the ninja deflected that too.

It seemed nothing in snake's arsenal could stop the ninja, so snake threw down his guns, and picked his fists up, "Come on fox, let's do this!"

The ninja sprinted at snake, and slashed.

Snake turned around to continue the fight, but only his head turned around, the rest of his body stayed facing one way. Then fell down on the floor.

Andres/ Solid Snake is dead.

2) Eliminate the entire town, no one must survive.

He checked off the first one and then looked at the second. "Oh wait, it looks like you are bumped up to my main target. Sorry YLC, it's nothing personal," Chaotix said.

"No problem Chaotix," YLC replied, "I knew it was you though. Just saying."

"Yeah, but that doesn't matter anymore."

Chaotix took one slash, cutting YLC, the final townie, in half.

The last thing he could manage to say was, "Good game."

This first night will be odd, a "townie" will be killed and it will be blamed on Gray Fox, it won't be a person it'll probably be me dressed up like someone. You'll see why.

I will explain that now.

Atheotes, as Dr Hunter, was given the ability to infect Solid snake and ONE other person in the game.

Each person then had a 15-20% chance of dying nightly, depending on the number of people, starting on I believe it was night 3.

Atheotes chose to infect ATPG, who was liquid snake, and Andres as Solid snake was automatically infected, but he was not told who either of these characters were.

The infection could kill anyone except revolver ocelot, but it could still be spread through him.

When Snake investigated White_eyes:D he passed it to him.

At the beginning of the game, solid snake along with one other person of your choice will be injected with the deadly virus FoxDie, and every person they interact with will contract it. Each person will then have a chance of dying, at the rate of one per night starting on the fourth night. In addition you can send 1 PM through me to your brother Frank Jaeger, you can only use this once so be careful about what you say, you can help or hurt him with it.

To inject your target with foxdie, simply send me a PM with the person's name in it during this first night, or during the first day.

Aside from this, once a day you get to vote like a normal townie.

Victory Conditions:
1) Successfully kill 2 people with foxdie
2) Live longer than solid snake
3) Survive.

Unfortunately, Chaotix killed atheotes before they could come into contact with each other.

I may have accelerated what I said in the PM, but I felt it necessary.

Death is yonder is also a very interesting role, I tried to remain true to the MGS spirit and he had his own ulterior motives for playing. If his one time kill had been used on white_eyes:D, he would have been given an automatic major victory, as W_e:D had the "Optical Disc" he was looking for, and then he would need to survive. Sadly neither of these happened, all craziness aside he was told he could be a basic townie if this was too hectic for him to do.

I advised him not to betray his Foxhound allies, as he would be utterly :daisy:'d if he had killed anyone but white_eyes, as you can see from the ending there. Alignment: Foxhound Traitor

You are not here for your comrades, you are here to retrieve an optical disc containing the Metal Gear's trial data, along with the FoxDie's data. Foxdie is a disease designed to kill anyone infected with it, based on their genetic makeup, your superiors have deemed it fit to keep you from being effected by this, you are immune to it.

Alongside that, you will be given the chance to kill once in the game. Please save this though, as it is very important to hit the right person. Namely the one with the disc, and you will be revealed as the killer regardless of how it goes. If you mess this up believe me you will be dead faster than you can imagine, so please don't just guess.

Upon retrieving the disc, you will be given an automatic minor victory, if you survive to the end it will become a major.

It goes without saying that this is not something you discuss with your fellow FH operatives, or anyone for that matter. If you have to just say you have a one time ability, being the king of torture and revolvers it's not too far off.

Being part of Foxhound, you know your fellow members, and they know you.

On a personal note, this is a very difficult role to play, I trust you abilities however, and I believe you'll do just fine. ATPG has already expressed his fear of there being a traitor and I threw him off of it, please don't kill your fellow agents, I assure you they will be taken out without your help.

I also find it interesting I'm the leader of a 4 person pro-town group. That smells like I have traitors in my midst.

Ah, well basically say "BROTHER" and "IT'S BEEN TOO LONG" at whomever you think is snake.

There was originally 6 people, but I thought that was way too unbalanced, especially since they all had unique skills, the other people would be easily weeded out as well.

Believe what you must about your group, I doubt anyone in foxhound really trusted anyone else anyway.

I'm not saying go around lynching them, they are quite useful.

Literally the moment I got my role PM I suspected there was a traitor among us. But there was seriously nothing I could do about it because I had no way to prove it.

I had to laugh.....had you guys looked at this write-up...you would have noticed what I was telling Andres:laugh4:
Yaropolk had arrived back at his room a bit ago, and he was growing restless now. He wanted to make more insignificant peons dance with his mighty mantis powers, and he knew exactly who.

He hastily walked down the hallway, went down the elevator, and hovered over the electrified floor., straight to the room of Dr. Hal Emmerich, the little whelp.

As he approached the door, he chose instead to peer inside and check up on what was happening, since he was, you know, the best psychic guy in the freaking world, he could kinda just get away with that kind of stuff. Didn't Yaropolk block me that night??:mellow:

And ATPG..
ATPG was in the mess hall, enjoying a nice sandwich. Being the main badguy of the series, he had to, of course, shout this to every person near him at any chance he could get.

"This is really a delicious sandwich." everyone in the hall paused and looked at him, then went back to the food.

"I mean really, delicious," he stated more forcefully, everyone just ignored him this time.

He jumped up onto the table, "I daresay, I've never had a better sandwich in all of my years at foxhound." A couple of men stood up and walked out of the room, not wanting to deal with this again.

ATPG Carefully opened the sandwich and pulled out the cheese, "I mean really, look at the quality craftsmanship of this swiss arrangement! Only a truly masterful chef could have made such a marvel!" Some more guards walked out.

"Well fine!" he shouted at them, "If you don't want to hear me maybe I'll just keel over and..."

Before he could finish, his sentence, or his sandwich, he felt a rush of adrenaline hit him, his heart was pumping harder than ever, and it hurt. No! ATPG shouted, "It can't be like in the game! I can't be killed off by foxdie, oh blast it!" I can totally see you doing this for some reason:yes::clown:

You were a bright faced eager young cadet, and you were easily swayed by the arguments from Foxhound, so you signed up for their gene therapy. Now you're in some alaskan piss-hole freezing your ass off, sitting inside of a nuclear death trap building. Fat lot of good it was eh?

Alignment: Townie

You have been instilled with the genes of the legendary soldier Big Boss! Because of foxhound's experiments, two things have come to light.

1) You are going to die, very soon unless the body of Big Boss is analyzed for a cure. Cancerous cells ravage your body as you speak, you rebel not only for your ideals, but for your very life.

2) The genes are quite effective, you are given an increased line of sight and hearing. You can see in a cone of 45 degrees in front of you, your logical brilliance allows you to follow footprints in the snow and noises you've heard to the source, though if no enemies are present you are safe knowing it was just your imagination.

You may have one vote per day phase, and night you sleep and patrol.

Victory Conditions:
1) Find snake and any other threats to your insurrection and eliminate them.

Oh yes beskar!

Beskar was very interesting, I laughed very heartily once he got picked for this, especially after mentioning the cardboard box role.

Basically beskar was a latent roleblocker, he had a 30% chance of roleblocking, snake once per night.

on the first night, snake's action was to investigate chaotix, Beskar blocked him outright, by the 30th percentile. It was by sheer luck that chaotix survived the entire game, and won. Andres seemed to forget that he tried to investigate him, much to everyone else's dismay :P

He was given a posting limit, but after complaining that people would vote him out of the fact he was being quiet, I made it up to 5 posts a day and unlimited at night. Sadly he got killed off way too early.

That blasted man is the only reason you remain in this torturing hell-hole, and you will use every single tool in your disposal to find and eliminate him, including, but not limited to, turning very slowly to your left for 60 degrees, and sometimes even turning to your right very slowly for another 60 degrees. Let's see him try and get past that!

You are the master of your domain, none shall pass your unblinking eye without subjugating themselves to a harsh system which determines them to be friend or foe. Once a day you may vote, as a regular townie.

Unique Powers:
You may speak minimally, only 3 posts per phase, and each one must include some sort of camera noise, be creative ;) (Posts containing just a vote or unvote will not contribute towards this total)

You also have a latent power, you have a chance of roleblocking snake once every night, due to the fact that you are his kryptonite.

Victory Conditions:
1) Successfully roleblock snake at least 2 times.
2) Find snake and any other threats to your insurrection and eliminate them.
3) Survive

Completing any 2 of these will earn you a major victory, 1 will result in a minor. 3 Will result in a handshake courtesy of myself.

Edit:Most of the write-ups were beyond funny...I had my friend read them and he had to chuckle as well..:laugh4: (he hardly ever laughs) but I found that they fit in quite well to what you would expect from MGS series..:yes:

None of us played MSG before, all we had to go off was the plot on wikipedia. It was really convoluted. Even after we knew you were dr Emmerich, still no idea if thats a bad guy or good guy. Can you post your PM? I still have no idea what your role was. All we figured out was that Gray Fox and Solid Snake are the people we need to kill. Since you didn't do anything that night, we figured you were just a townie.

Despite knowing all of this you somehow thought it was a good idea to get a job at ArmsTech, a weapons manufacturing corporation, because you love anime and giant robots. Alignment: Conscientious Objector

You don't really know what's going on, you were the lead programmer for metal gear's new railgun system, but it was only supposed to shoot nukes out of the sky, it would shoot big rocks, about the size of nukes come to think of it..., at the nukes. It's also undetectable on radar, so the enemy can't see our nuke shaped rocks shooting down their nukes. This makes total sense right?

Anyway, your boss ArmsTech president Kenneth Baker disappeared a bit ago, but he gave you this shiny optical disc. Metal Gear's test data along with some other stuff appears to be on it, but you don't have the clearance to get it, not that that's ever stopped you before, you're a master hacker, you just really don't care. You can give the disc to someone else, but why would you? It'd be smarter to keep it as safe as possible, so that it can't fall into the hands of those foxhound guys...

You are less of a townie and more of a prisoner of Foxhound, waiting for snake to bust you out. You make send me 2 PMs during the game that will be forwarded to Snake, but I will obviously make sure you don't say your name or anything I deem not good to send.

You still have one vote per round like a normal townie, but you may only make 4 posts a day. Posts just containing a vote do not count.

Victory Conditions:
1) Become recruited and aid snake in his mission.
2) Keep the optical disc in safe hands.
3) Survive!

On a personal note. As I've said to one other person in this game, this is a tough role to play, you don't really have much to do with the foxhound guys, and you're not much of a fighter. I trust your judgment however, and I wish you good luck!

You are the legendary solid snake, the soldier who single handedly took down two metal gears, and Big Boss, the most revered soldier of all time, TWICE. Did I mention he was also your father? Well technically, considering you're a clone of him. So pretty much you're one of the biggest bad-asses in history. Campbell contacted you about this, your mission is to sneak into the Shadow Moses facility and to eliminate the foxhound insurgency.

Foxhound took over a nuclear storage base which was secretly holding, yes you guessed it, METAL GEAR.

Alignment: Mafia

I don't know if I should even call you the mafia, you're the good guy right? Well to be fair there are no good guys in war, but you're the chaotic good in this whole series right? Right.

Once a night you can either investigate or kill, investigating will yield the person's role PM and killing will silence them. You have a stipulation however, there is a scientist on this base, a Hal Emmerich you are to find him and recruit him, but how? Well.... thing's will fall into place hopefully.

Killing Hal will be extremely, I cannot stress this enough, extremely detrimental to your success. I advise you to use your wits!

Victory Conditions:
1) Recruit Hal Emmerich
2) Eliminate all members of foxhound
3) Survive.
