That's the difficult part...

Players from all over the world...so many different time zones.

It's not realistic to set a time I think, last Sunday was already a succes (10+ online is a crowd nowadays http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif ) after one humble request on this forum. Even a small increase of players is already welcomed with joy by the "Shoggies".

That's true Kaneyashi, but it's good to set a window of some 4 hours. It's no use to wait 1 hour in an empty foyer and then leave.

I logged in to MI earlier (about 11am - 7 hours ago) and found no-one there, so I went into MTW for a few games.

Setting a time isn't so important, if you say "Sunday" everyone can get on whenever they can, time zones not necessary 'cos (hopefully) you won't be alone in your country.

Calling a shogun day on Sundays seems to have worked well.

Noticed a big increase in numbers online each evening 10pm UK time.
