I have finally bought ETW and am installing right now. I am just wondering with all the bugs (i've gotten used to this with CA and have to accept it) I am just wondering which version I should update to for the best play experiance?

You don't exactly have a choice. It will update you to the newest.

Well I think you can turn off auto-updating of the game. So your choices would be 1.0 or 1.3. Which means you have no choice. The game is pretty much unplayable in 1.0.

Right, no real choice but don't be disheartened. 1.3.1 is much better than 1.2 anyway.

As far as we can tell, when you install a game on steam, even if you choose to not automatically update, it will. If you then turn it off, it will stay at that version.
