View Full Version : Firefox question regarding multiple bookmarks

When using Firefox (or for that matter, Internet Explorer), I prefer to place the vast majority of my bookmarks in various folders: Humor, Total War, Information & Reference, etc. For the most part, this system works very well for me. However, there are a few websites that I visit regularly (or at least semi-regularly) which could be placed under more than one folder....and for some stupid reason FF won't let me place a bookmark in both. (That, or I'm simply too dense to figure out how to do it.)

Case in point: There's a new site called Star Trek Gaming (http://www.startrek-gaming.com/). Ideally, I'd like to be able to place a bookmark for this site under both my Gaming folder and my Star Trek folder. Every time I try to do so, though, Firefox simply moves it from one to the other -- it refuses to create a duplicate bookmark in both folders. Is there a way I can get around this?

Bring down the Bookmarks dropdown menu. Navigate to where the bookmark is, right click and copy. Navigate to the other folder where you want the bookmark, right click and paste.

See? I told you I was dense. ~;p

Thanks, Pannonian. Much appreciated.
