Hi all,

I've got a very interesting question. I've managed to conquer the most factions: hellenon, makedonia, pontos, hayasdan, most of the seleukid, ptolemai, dacia, the romans....but I'm currently
fighting the carthagians and there's something very strange about them (and other nations)...
it's like they have the majority of their settlements with negative incomes, but they still manage to recruit units and create buildings...how is that possible? is the AI cheating?

I believe that the background script is gifting them money. That is why the AI can afford so many stacks.

The AI is there to destroy you, kill you, butcher you and they will do whatever they can to do so (of course not in RL). They are not there to give you some pony ride.

Btw, what faction are you playing as?

I'm playing with Epeiros. I've got an income of about 60,000 mnai per turn...I've got the most modern empire from the Massilia town to the Charax and Sus huge cities. I do not know if this is right, taking in count the fact that I've had a long way to be able to get this income, and the AI is making money out of the script. I don't know...what do you think?

You don't know about what?

Excuse me, I was refering about the fact that I do not agree with the logic that any faction when it's in trouble should be "helped" with the EB script that is "pumping" big sums of money into it...I was thinking about the ability of giving and receiving loans from other allied factions should be more interesting....

EB is supposed to be challenging. It would be boring if you have surrounded a faction with a half stack for the only army they have.

Yes, I agree...but it should be challenging in a more reliable and correct way - I've told you about the idea of obtaining loans from allies or asking the allies for their army support, but cheating using script code is the most irrelevant way.

You've got the brain, AI has got the money.
