I'm playing as Rome, year is 214bc. Anyway, the maks have expanded all the way to scandinavia, but they've lost greece proper. The kh are in garama and sweboz are bordering the saka while holding on to the rhineland. Finalyy, there is a casse full stack besieging olbia which is held by hayasdan. has anyone else has any similar experiences?

Heh, I will not believe until I see a screeny, so fantastical your story is.

Olbia in Hayasdan? That would be the only really plausible thing in your post. Yes, screens or it didn't happen.

The strangest expansion I've seen would be the Beige Death, courtesy of the Sauros. I'm not sure what triggered it (But I was Pahlav, and cut off their North, so that probably had something to do with it) and they just sweeped through the AS by hiring all the mercs before the Seleucids could.

I've got the Casse in Belgium, Scandinavia and Germany, the Luso's in the whole of Gaul, the Sweboz in Poland and Southern Baltic, the Macedonians as Crimean Kingdom.

Screens in the faction progression thread.

I've had the Sauro completely annihilate the Getai and claim almost the entire north portion of the map (as a result of getting a truce with the Hayasdan). Other craziness includes the Saba conquering all the way through Arabia into Seleukia and Baktria replacing the Seleukid Empire.

I interefere in other factions' growth since I started to really hate seeing the KH in Siberia and stuff.

I had a Baktrian stack wandering around the balkans ca.165. Their nearest settlement was south of the Caspian. They had made the Sauromatae a protectorate so assumed that had something to do with it. Definately made me look twice.:dizzy2:

BI + victory condition mod (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=95664) = I have yet to see Hayasdan expand beyond Caucaus (apart from Kabalaka/Aghvan). They usually go for Ani-Kamah, Mtskheta, Kotais, Phraaspa and the aforementioned Kabalaka instead and become a Caucasian empire.

Might very well be a bribe. They sometimes like to control armies in the middle of nowhere.

I get the Arverni or Aedui in Anatolia every so often, though usually the place gets conquered over again, but one time it rebelled to the Arverni after Rome had almost completely conquered their territory and they began expanding from Ankyra. I was the KH and controlled most of the Ionian coast, so it was an interesting battle between hoplitai and celtic units.

also, my Romans almost always head north into Gaul and sometimes their Italian cities get conquered behind them. Rome-in-exile...

haha in my ongoing averni-game, stupid galatia rebelled to me in winter 272bc. I used fd and m_c to roleplay a journey and league between my not-averni fm and pontos, from whom it rebelled.
Kinda crazy. Im in dept 'round'about 60k. and if aedui anihilate me like currently, I have the perfect migration game. If I remember correctly I'm in 269.
