Crashade? :p Okay here's what happened...
Danes invaded Flanders from Friesland. We fought, they lost and we're back on campaign map. First thing first; I bribed a stack in Friesland and I saw an passive crusade marker. I ended turn and I got a message of bribe accepted, ships sunk etc but no crusade message. On next turn I saw the bribed stack changing color so okay I hit the button again. As expected, Danes invaded Flanders with the King and stack(s) from Friesland, leaving few behind to fight my bribed army. I can't prove whether the marker was activated on the same turn but I did see Teutonic Sergeants in Friesland so they must be crusaders. Also there's no pop-up but then again usually battle screen comes first, then naval battles and any urgent message. I won both battles; Friesland and Flanders, and I got ransom message pop up and so here we are....

Don't you wanna click those stacks including the Crusade marker? Well I did and the game crashed and showed the usual 'MTW has encountered problem' message ala 'you're rig is too young for MTW.' Those pieces you see filling up Saxony are not the ransomed ones; those units are in the king's stack and another. Those single pieces are units that fled in Freisland and were part of the marker. Anyway, I reloaded game and luckily there was another battle I fought in Rome with Pope after the two so I started from there and auto-calc'd since I lost the first time anyway. I was back on the screenshot but this time I didn't click the marker and hit end-turn button right away. Friesland was invaded, I auto-calc'd and urgent messages popped up but right after them a different error message popped up ala 'portrait missing' or something that is caused by error in modification and the box is different. Sadly I couldn't take screen-shot because I was so busy hitting enter and it was followed by the aforementioned card related crash but it was saying something about identifying culture. The word "culture" was actually in there.
How come they're not destroyed since I took Friesland? Is it because it was activated as I invaded on same turn with bribed troops? Tell you the truth this is a first when I invaded on same turn as a marker gets activated. The two different error messages kind of confused me.
