Alright, here's what I did:
Changed the script, so that the Independent Greek City States were playable. Gave myself a reasonable amount of cash, not a fortune. Abandoned every city, save for Massilia and Emporion. Built a fleet. Moved all of my men onto the ships, abandoning my remaining cities and set sail.

I unloaded my army on the southern shore of Britannia, and conquered Camulodunum, and made it my capital. Within a few years, Britannia was under my control, and the native Celts were quite content with my leadership. I established trade with the Germanic peoples, as well as the Gauls, while the Independent Gauls remained my enemy.

Next, the Gauls of Cuinnacht(modern Ireland) needed to be subdued. They offered little resistance, and soon the city of Emain Macha was under my control.

The next step was to increase my income further, and establish trade routes to the East, with the Scythians and the Thracians, who had by now spread to the coast of eastern Germania. I assembled an army under the command of the heir Androkles of Hellas. I sent him with my navy to the northmost regions of the world. The natives proved to be primitive fools, unable to make use of their strategic position as a trading outpost.

This was how my Kingdom remained for a few years, as I built my cities in Britannia to great strongholds, and recruited an army of Celto-Hellenic warriors from Camulodunum. During these years, a rebel army emerged in northern Britannia, under the command of the warlord Vellocatus. This man, however, proved to have a weak spot for gold, and before he could lead his men against me, he was under my command, co-commanding my Grand Army with Androkles of Hellas.

As my army was complete, I put them on ships, and ferried them across the canal, attacking the Gallic tribes of mainland Gaul. Soon, the north-western coast was within my domain. Following the defeat of the Gallic king and his army, the remains of that army fled towards the forests, led by Ceanatis of the Aquitani. Ceanatis was a capable general, and a man of honour, so I approached him with one of my best diplomats, and offered him riches and glory if he would join me. Obviously impressed by the discipline and courage of my warriors, Ceanatis accepted, and replaced the aging Vellocatus, who was appointed governor of Dariotum.

An interesting turn of events followed, as the Iberians declared war, and laid siege to Dariotum. With Vellocatus' garrison being gravely outnumbered, the Grand Army, which was heading for Avaricum, turned back and utterly vanquished the invaders. Ceanatis led my army with great skill, even if he was only 17 years old when he joined. He easily outshone my faction heir, Androkles, and my King Chares of Epirus, made the controversial decision of revoking Androkles' right to the throne, and giving it to his greatest rival - Ceanatis, who wasn't even Hellenic.

Now, the Iberians are gathering in the south, four great armies of a thousand strong, each at least, stand against a force of roughly a 1000 men. In a strategic position by a bridge, Ceanatis hopes to hold the Iberians there, and push them back - and then crossing the bridge himself to deliver sweet revenge for the lives they've taken.

And that's where we are now.

Screenshots will follow.
