The manual only says "in the warlord campagin" edition, and I'm not sure what this means, exactly. I know thier availible in the mongol campaign, but are they in any others?

nope, as in the normal campaign u have muskets.

If you really wanted to, you could mod the stats file so you could build them in the normal campaign. But I'm not sure if this would be effective. You could try asking in the mod forum.
