Shogun and it's addon are dying - let us face this with dignity. I condemn MTW multiplayer and as of yet do not play it anymore. So naturally i play the better game - shogun.
I was never able to show full colours at shogun because shogun was the first game i played online thus i was too frightened to play in the tournaments.
Why not light the spark back in shogun and have a tournament, when the new tenki.org site is up i will try and get a section in based on a tournament and also use it use promote shogun again, i really think this game still has potential.

I've played STW in MP online for the first time this week, and I don't see why this game should die. There are still players in there and it is still fun to play, and I think a tournament will get lots of support if someone would make a serious effort at it.
So I wish you good luck and keep us informed on this forum....

Hi Guys,

I'm a regular in MI/WE and heres something I posted in the entrance hall (12Feb):


The Sunday (SOS - be a Sam On Sundays) meeting on MI/WE has been going strong for several months now and alot of the vets make brief but, welcome appearences, we usually get a good crowd in there (15-20 warriors for several hours, from 6-7PM GMT onwards).

The Sunday meetings have also kick-started the attendees in the weekdays, we may not get the numbers that visit MTW, but for instance there were 15-20 players (this was constant for 4-5 hours 7 -12pm GMT)in MI/WE, last night

We have alot of dedicated MI/WE players and hopefully with abit more air time, and and dispelling any premature rumours of the games on-line demise, we'll get a few more.

Oh yes, we been getting alot of the MTW players coming back,last night, Fearful Ways, The Wolves, Aggony, 7Bear7 and of course ShinKage Clans were there, not bad hey.

Oh yes tournaments

Well at present the Aggony and Shinkage Clans (allied) get together on Sundays and have Clan v Clan battles from which a battle log is produced and posted on both Clan sites, all are welcome to particapte. These are friendly battles, nevertheless very competitive in nature.

This type of gathering has that little bit of extra excitment and alot of fun.

Hmm well I for one, as surely you all know prefer MTW for MP.

well guys, get your blades sharpened, for the first Total War World Championship is coming... thats right... Total War... not medieval only, it includes shogun, we have not forgotten you guys at all.
