Hi,
I understand that the Eleutheroi are the smaller factions that did not make it as full factions into the mod. However do they act as ONE faction? If I attack one of them will the other settlements begin to attack me?

They are the rebels... That's hard coded into the engine that one faction has to be the rebels.
They rarely attack the player though. But yes, when you are at war with one rebel settlement, you are at war with all.
Since you are per definition at war with the eleutheroi, it doesn't matter much. The only exception being the Casse at the start of the game: they have a peace treaty so they can trade with eleutheroi cities.

Do they attack the players by the way? I had two short Casse campaigns in my whole EB carrier and I was the one always who attacked the rebels first.

I haven't played the Casse since 0.8, but in my campaigns the Eleutheroi stack that is present in your territory at the start would attack after a few turns (this may be related to the construction of roads) unless I placed an army to block the way to my settlement. I've not seen rebel cities recruiting an army and invading a nearby territory.

Without BI or Alx.exe, it's unlikely the Eleutheroi will attack you unprovoked (without positioning an army right next to their stack), though if you have changed the engine, on VH campaign they should act a lot more aggressively towards the player. You'll notice that some settlements contain the same type of Eleutheroi, and it is these various types which will act as one.
For instance, if you attacked the fictional 'Romaioktonoi' rebels, and took Barbaropolis, one of their two settlements, the other settlement and various Romaioktonoi troops (if any) from the surrounding area should come to the aid of their conquered city.
On Hard or very hard campaign difficulty they will besiege your cities.

Nope: in either BI or Alex, even in hard they'll try to attack your ill-guarded settlements, but the upkeep in EB is too high... so they always got their monetary station at extreme crisis... so they can't recruit soldiers not because they are can't by code. They can't recruit because they didn't have the money.... just notice the "Slave" actions on vanilla BI / Alex... and u'll understand what I say... (Because I still play BI vanilla). Maybe if u want a more aggresive rebel, you should add tons of money for slave in script :book:

If the Romaioktonoi catch Barbaropolis, they burn it, when someone else attack it, they will hand that guy a torch so he can burn the ruins of Barbaropolis..
But back to topic now: No, when there are three rebel stacks, 2 have the (Boii) tag and the other one hasn't, the boii stacks will help eachother but not the one without the tag. ANd the one without a tag wouldn't help the (Boii)
