My family tree is bizarre...

First off, my faction leader starts off with two daughters, then he goes off and dies in like 2 years...

Now I have a multiethnic family line ten years into the game....with bizarre traits as well. I'm guessing I messed up the trait system trying to get Alexander to work >_>

By the way all of them have the Client Ruler trait, although there's no penalties.....

Alex is not savegame compatible (as in, it will screw up your traits).

The thing that screws your traits is changing the export_description_character_traits (or whatever it's exactly called) file, so the problem is not the .exe itself. I myself have changed from RTW to Alex in a running campaign, but after I experienced the same problems as you have, I somehow managed to correct it. I can't remember what the trick was, though. Perhaps it depends on where inside the file new traits are added?
