Tropico 3

Well, this has been on my radar for some time but the screenshots released so far did not do much for me this new trailer (http://www.filefront.com/14328973/Tropico3-GamesCom09-Trailer.zip/) however has just raised my expectations.
I really hope this will be a fun game, so much potential with that setting etc.
Anyone else looking forward to controlling their own banana republic? ~D

I enjoyed the first game, however, I always had to build a USSR army base to stop the American's invading me. Though one game, I used cheats to help offset it, and after the initial down period I ended up with Perfect relations with both.

Curse those warmongering Americans.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Apparently the original developers are basically uninvolved, and...well, Tropico 2 was no improvement on the original

That sounds like good news. I can't remember how many hours I spent with T2 Pirate Cove and if this one is merely 3/4th as good, then it's a game. ~:)

Had a look at it today on the GamesCom and it looked pretty nice, beautiful island graphics.
