I got ETW as soon as it came out. It was running perfectly untill the last patch. Now it takes 15 mins to reach the menu screen. Everything in the game is very very very slow. It is totally unplayable.

I did pay for my game.

I really want to get back into this game again. But I can't. Haven't been able since the last patch.

Does anyone know what might be wrong? I have a high end system and I know I can run the game it was running on settings maxed out before the patch.

Thank you for your time.

Nothing wrong with the system...

Hmm..

Try to verify the game files via steam, if that doesnt help, maybe a reinstall.

I said I could run the game.

I already did uninstall it and renistall from disk and Stream.

Nothing works.

Try changing your graphics drivers. Possibly updating them might fix it, or even going to an older one.

Though as a correction to your first post, you don't have a high-end system, sorry to say.

if he can run E:TW on max settings, I'd have to say he does. he probably has a bunch of high-tech stuff attached to it or something.

He jus told us what he has.

I can run E:TW on Max settings. Doesnt mean much, I have a 2.4 ghz Core 2 Duo and an 8600GT.

I wouldn't exactly call that a high end system, I'd say mid system, mine is basically the minimum system requirements and so its abit of a slideshow for me lowering graphics settings can help if its long load times it could be the hard drive or the RAM, 2gb of RAM is what I have and while I don't have those problems, running everything on high, it will go slow (esp if textures are set as high as possible), how much space is on your hard drive? how many save games of ETW do you keep? these are other important points needed to diagnose your problem, and have you done anything recently besides updating ETW that you think might cause problems? anyway get back to us with that and we'll see if any new information comes to light.

The problem happened as soon as I updated the game.

well then we can't help you I'm afraid, you'll have to contact SEGA, Steam, or The Creative Assembly (most likely SEGA being the Publishers)

Yeah, I've never been able to play the game satisfactorily, but now I can't even get to the tutorials after the last update. After the credits it goes to a white screen and just hangs there. Nice.
