Generals Dying of Old Age

While it may be "realistic", I'm getting angry at my generals constantly dying of old age. I like to build up my generals and, in the case of a civil war, I can recognize them by names. However, in Viking Invasion I keep seeing my 6 or 7 star generals "die of old age." Is there any way to remove this from the game?

Though I've never tryed it myself, I know there is a tag that lets you specify the age at which your generals start dying from old age. Maybe this number could be raised through the roof so to speak, so your generals can go on forever?

But unless you play with -green generals there's no real loss, though in RP terms you loose a friend...

The switch in question is "-old_age:#", replace # with the starting age you want them to be eligible to die of old age. Kings, heirs, and heros will be eligible at this number + 10 years. The game defaults this value to 40, and I believe this switch is only available in the patched 2.01 VI version.

Thanks for the help, I'll look into it.

Although I guess since their stats aren't affected, it's not a huge problem. I just can't recognize them by name anymore.
