I reached the Polybian reforms before I could make an MIC in some of my towns high enough to train most of the Camilian units. Are you supposed to lose Rorarii and Leves after Polybian? If so, how come some of my cities (such as Roma) still have them when others lose them?

:help:

PS: Is there a point to Hastati anymore after the Polybian reforms?

I can't say I remember much about the Roman reforms, but leves definitely get replaced by the velites. If you still have accensi, then rorarii are also replaced.

You can upgrade the barracks once more after you get the reforms, and then you can recruit polybian units. Your other cities probably just have outdated barracks. Upgrade them.

Well, they provide the same function as they did in the Camillian era...

Oh okay that makes sense. Haha :sweatdrop:

And about the Hastati, it seems almost pointless to recruit them after the Polybian Reforms. Right now, I have over 1.6 million mnai and recruiting them when you can recruit Principe or Triariis seems insensible

What? With that money you're not buying elephants or Pedites Extraordinarii? I only train/bring couple triarii to roleplay cus I think you're actually downgrading your triarii with Polybian reform. Plus I don't like the Roman idea of reserving a better equipped, experienced soldiers. Enemies sometimes rout faster if you use better troops first. You'll get what I mean once you start attacking elites with hastati.

Tell that to my double gold role playing Hastati :) It doesn't really matter TBH.
