Misplaced/Never-Expiring Infraction Point?

It says I have one point active, despite all of them expired (on that screenshot as well as one the subsequent pages). Or is the zero-point warning that has not expired is somehow registering on the infraction tab?

Probably the algorithm is counting the number of infractions then subtracting the number of expire-dates; which results in your 1 infraction point? (Alternatively there is data corruption in the data base; because I assume that by the rules of data consistency associated with these infraction points (expired one's don't count) a more "direct" query on the data base would yield 0.)

Side note: I didn't even know I could view my own infractions? :inquisitive:

Heh, but most of them are warnings, as evidenced by the page in the screenie. And after getting profusely smacked on the wrists, I eventually learned to be careful, re-read my posts, and know where the line is, so now I am entering a quiet period.

Except for that shock of being warned for a thing in the EB Thread. We never had real mods until Ludens came in :sad:. Oh the good ol' days of trolling, spamming, and flaming... Well, not really, I deeply loathe the first two.

You get that tab when you receive your first warning/infraction. Do you really wanna' have it :no:? You should not have it if you were never chastised for anything.

Tosa took a warning and put it's corpse on a pole, as a ward to keep you from getting more warnings. It's really a favour, if you think about it.

Folks getting stuck with a "ghost" infraction point seems to an intermittent but recurring bug with the warnings system. While I don't know if there's a fix for it, I believe TosaInu can remove it if you PM him.
