Hi everyone, i'm a new member. I would change the frontier of a region (editing the limits). Ok, i change the file map.regions (I know the procedure, delete file map.rwm etc. etc.), but when i play the game, the map return to original file map.regions and there is not my modofy. If i look in folder "BASE", i see the file what i have modified. I don't know why, when i play, the game (in automatic) regenered the original file.. I search in sub-folders ( backup folfers) but i don't see the map.regions file.
Exuse me for my english language, I'm italian and i write with vocabolary, sorry.
I love EUROPA BARBARORUM, is the best for Rome TW.
Thanks for possible answer.

Sorry, misread your text.
Could it be that the coastline doesn't match somewhere and so the game tries to correct this?
The other thing I would try is to make a shortcut of rometw.exe with a commandline like: "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb -show_err. To completly avoid EB recreating the files from the Singleplayer backup.
Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

I think you to be right. I have installed EB in "C" - folder : EUROPA BARBARORUM ( NOT in program). But if i open the file "exe" (single player) and i look the destination, i see the destination is : C: \ Programmi \ EBTrivialScript \ EBTrivialScript.exe-s ebconfig.xml -- runeb-tipo "Single Player". i GO IN PROGRAM and open the folder trivial sript and i see any sub-folder, but i don't know if my problem is here. I repeat that i have installed the game (EB) in "C" and not in program.
If i tranfer the file exe (single player) on the desktop, i don't know what i must write in propriety - destination.
Exuse me still for my crazy language :-)
Thanks for answeer and your patience.

help me, please.
I can't help with the mapping problem, but the shortcut you use that of the EB trivial script, rather than the EB mod. Try opening the game directly via RTW.exe rather than trivialscript.exe. RTW.exe should be in the main R:TW folder. Don't forget to include the command lines that team_kramnik mentioned.
