1. Naked fanatic infantry said to be recruitable by Carthage in liguria but are not. did something change?

2. building advanced markets yields very little trade income compared with the huge cost. is there some kind of cumulative effect in place to justify it?

3. as pahlava trade caravans seem to yield peanuts compared with their cost, again is there some kind of cumulative trade bonus that multiplies with the amount built or should i just save my money?

4. as pahlava ive tried "role-playing" by not attacking the seleukids at first and letting them have it out with the ptolemaoi. however they seem to have other plans, anyway to get the stupid AI to deal with bigger fish instead of attacking its allies?

5. pahlava AI getting annihilated consistenly, anyway to remedy this?

6. is there a way to appoint recruited generals as family members?

thx

1. Said where? Recruitment Viewer? That program is tad outdated.

2. Sort of. The larger your population gets, the larger the bonus becomes, which is a percentage-based perk as opposed to being a permanent one-time buff. But generally, high-level markets are not very good at paying off their value. Far, far better to reduce corruption with law buildings, if you have corruptions, which will dramatically increase the income.

3. See above. Wait until you are wealthy to build them, although their costs are lower, so build a low-level caravan and wait until upgrading it.

4. I suppose you can try the "teleport armies" cheat to maroon the AS armies in Ptolemaic lands.

5. Add money via console. Change "decr_strat" (if you want to go further with this, just ask me in this thread how to do it) to give them more troops in the beginning. And they do not always get butchered. I have seen many games where they became the "purple rain" or a gargantuan empire.

6. Man of the Hour. Have them fight a preferably sizeable battle. The more the odds are against you, the better. If you have not reached the FM limit (roughly two territories per FM you have), the MotH message will pop up after a victory.

You welcome :beam:, I hope I was of help.

Build paved roads ASAP. They are the most cost-effective building in EB and will be instrumental for your economy, especially if you play Pahlava.

Not permanently. The "grey" ones indicate a future change in trade income, or so it seems most of the time. They are somewhat bugged though.

I think when it flashes, it means that's what you'll lose. I can never find out what causes it. Sometimes it'll flash randomly on one turn and not on the other. As for markets, they're okay. They are good if you want to train high level spies, diplomats, or most importantly, assassins. :beam:
