Hi, after some month of inactivity i decided to come back to this forum, but my profil was deleted, due my inactivity in the last month, i think!?! Is that right?
And how many days of inactivity must passing by, before i'll get re-deleted once again?

We do not delete accounts due to inactivity, no matter how long a person has been gone. The only accounts we have been deleting lately are those created by spambots, since there's been a plague of them since last spring. Are you sure your account was deleted and it's not that you just forgot the password or something similar?

That is odd...

That account definitely appears to have been deleted, but I can't find any record of any Moderator doing it. Since I'm not aware of any automated system that deletes accounts, this will require a bit more research. In the meantime, I'll put in a request to have your member status bumped up to normal member. Apologies for the inconvenience of all this, we'll get it sorted out.

No problem & thanks for the request!
I'm happy about that there is no "inactivity-account-deletion". Hope you'll find out soon where the problem was.

This account-deleting sounds suspicious... TinCow, I order you to solve this mystery and report your finds directly to me.

Hello Userprobe,

I don't think it was deleted. Useraccounts with zero posts and inactivity for several months may get deleted, so something else must have happened (some sort of technical glitch, such as a record damage).

What was your previous nick?

The same as now, but with the first letter in lower case!
Look here for my last post as thread starter with my previous account:

Do you think when the forum went all crazy with the time it somehow thought userprobe's account had 0 posts and was offline for months...?

That's kind of what we (the staff) have been wondering ourselves. Given all the problems the forum's had this past summer, I personally wouldn't be too shocked if one of those service outages turned out to be the culprit (either wholly or in part).

Clearly us weak mortals cannot divine the true answer.

Our only choice is to disturb the sacred camel oracle.
