EDIT: Title should read: Uncertain if background script installed properly
First, I want to say that the mod itself is running perfectly fine without any significant bugs. However, one oddity that is bugging me is that the AI seems to be completely passive. For instance, in the first 40 turns or so playing as the Romani, I've yet to be attacked in any way, shape, or form by anyone. The only enemy movement into my territory was a one unit band of Epeirus troops that decided to around their own territory, never reacting when I took their city. Even more so, Carthage has yet to do anything, despite my attacking them and putting weak armies near their city in Sicily to provoke a response. Additionally, all of this is while running the game on BI.exe
All of this has me wondering if the background script was properly installed. I vaguely recall being asked for an installation location for the script after I installed the main game components, along with at least two other add-ons that I installed. I believe I may have installed those into the directory containing RTW.exe as I believed would be desired, however, the installation process itself had suggested another location.
So, my question is, is there any way for me to test to see if the background script is properly functioning?
I am able to 'activate it' in game, however, for all I know that does nothing other than pacify my advisor.
So, if anyone could point to a way to check it all out, that would be great. I attempted to run the installation validation, but it doesn't seem inclined to work on Vista. As per usual with Vista.
Anyway, any and all help is appreciated.
