JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – Washington County authorities said a motorcyclist riding down the road without a helmet led to a series of discoveries and three arrests. The Johnson City Press reported that when officers stopped 21-year-old outside his home on Tuesday, they found he wasn't alone. The man also had an 18-month-old baby on board, also without a helmet.

As they wrote him up for reckless endangerment, evading arrest and driving on a suspended license, officers learned another man at the home was a fugitive from North Carolina. They arrested him as well.

But before the officers could leave, they spotted a third man allegedly breaking into a nearby barn. So they arrested him, too.

The story goes from making you mad as heck to making you laugh. :2thumbsup:

Based on this idea of total efficiency in law enforcement, I have a suggestion: it would be to go around to all the really bad chat rooms and tell the pervs that they are handing out free children down at the police station. You can dress the arresting officers up like teddy bears. At the very least you get the stupid ones off the streets using a minimum of manpower.

I'm uneasy about the government going around and tempting people into crimes. I thought you were a criminal when you committed the crime not before.

note: referring to pizza's comment and the not the article itself.

:laugh4: That is very, very funny.

We've actually had someone come to evidence to retrieve property that was seized in some investigation or another, and they had a felony warrant on them (and knew about it when asked), as well as having drugs on his person, so maybe your plan isn't as farfetched as it would seem. :clown:

ATPG's comment is why I find /to_catch_a_predator silly.

Yet hilarious.

Why don't you take a seat over there? :sweatdrop:

The first thing Hitler did when he was elected president is make babies wear helmets.
