Thank you all for your comments.
May I ask how you got the camera to be that low and at that angle on The Banks of the Euphrates?
It happens automatically since it was a river-crossing-battle.
Have you altered the descr.unit file to get the heavy thorakitai?
Yes I have altered it heavily but not for these guys. They are AS. Mine are the Argyraspides in the background.
I'll look for some further cool screens.

Nice! You should consider submitting one of these screens for the December Screenshot Competition.

Just you wait, Nix. You wait for AtB. Then the Arabs shall have their revenge!
Though do note that the Maks are unopposed in the Balkans in AtB - they will have to deal with rebel fullstacks.

Why does the ground look so special, where did that battle take place?

Thank you for commenting. Now tell me which one I shall enter to the competition (and don't do tricks). :sweatdrop:
Why does the ground look so special, where did that battle take place?
Like the title says, "On the Banks of the Euphrates", at the bridge northeast of Seleukeia.
But the ground goes down and suddenly back up again, where on bridgemaps does that occur :p?

Well, why don't you dare to look at it yourself?
In my opinion, "in the woods, the formation of a phalanx can become quite tricky" is quite nice.
