i have a newly installed version of RTW with 1.5 patch but when i double click the EB exe it doesnt appear to do anything other than make my computer slow.
anyway i can sort this out?

EB needs some time to start, as it's maxing out the resources of RTW.
How long have you been waiting?

No, that's excessive. Does a loading screen appear? On my older, slower computer EB would take 10 minutes to load, but it did show a (non-moving) loading bar.

it loaded in the end took over an hr though, have no idea why it took so long but now wont even let me start a campaign, just quits to the menu every time i press continue after picking my faction, tryed to run a validation test it runs the test fine sais press any key to open, i do so and i get
Cannot find the ebValidationResults.txt file.
Do you want to create a new file?
im sure my computer should be able to run this i had EB on my old comp and it ran perfect with no problems and my new one is better.
