Meh, Jarlaxe would kick both their @$%$, if only because he could probably get a nuke to kill them with.

But no doubt Drizzt wins in a straight up fight every time. He has had a few more decades to perfect his skill though, if Artemis was as long lived then he could probably get as good.

Really I think in a freaky way Jarlaxe is his friend. I doubt he stopped watching Artemis even after he got told to leave him alone. :juggle2: But I can never be too sure. It may just be me hoping the two get back together for more zany misadventures.

wow. we are so off topic :laugh4::laugh4: (I should make a Social group for Drizzt fans. :laugh4:)

Look drizzit is cool and all but in lets say... a battle royale between him i put my money on artemis he just is willing to do whatever it takes. and jarlaxle is definitely his friend (Love-hate though).

now in my mind this is how it works

artemis<drizzit (remember drizzit has the reach in weapons, naturally more skilled as drow and is far older, plus those speed anklets)

athrogate>bruenor and any other dwarf even pwent (i dont think i even need to explain)

jarlaxle>anyone else (i swear hes gonna beat down a god next.

regis>NO ONE (unless he can sneak attack with his ruby)

guenhyvyar>anyone with serious skillz (if they know what they're doing...... well back to the astral plane for you cat.)

Other notable characters
Obould Many-Arrows (god orc, and hes smart!!!!)
Catti-Brie (she was way cooler with khazidhea and taulmaril)
Wulfgar (lost all respect when he became a pathetic drunk)
pikel bouldershoulder (dwarf druid, nough said)
Cadderly (super powerful priest, nough said)

sorry for the divergence i just had to let out my inner nerd.

Please, the more detail you send in with your order, and the more specific you get, the better you will do. PLEASE do NOT send me an order I can read in under 10 seconds. That is very disappointing and is the reason for most of the 16 deaths I have witnessed.

ALSO it appears the people who are spitting out the most creative plans to stay alive are winning so get creative! If I have to extend this round another day to get everyone's write-ups in I will. If you fail to send one in after my gracious deadlines, you will just simply be WoG'd.

The final write-up will be posted publicly. Once again, please give me DETAIL. Everything depends on this final night.

Thank you

Seven men, one square mile. A mission, to destroy them all. Weapons and will, combined with a drive to stay alive and be victorious, can tell a tale worth hearing…

Twilightblade, a man of balance between strength and speed, stealth and endurance, chose to use his knowledge of the area, being this is the second day he has been here, to his advantage. He chose a spot where two tree trunks met very closely, and were guarded by a large bush with clear underbrush for laying.

He armed his crossbow, tied two of his extra arrows to the lower end off his katana’s sheath, and laid it and the unsheathed katana on either side of him. He watched and waited, sniper eye ready to pull the trigger at a moment’s notice.

Hours went by, “Six guys are here, this is the spot, I know it!”

Another hour went by, and finally some life is seen traveling up into a hiding spot in a tree on the opposite side of the clearing TB believed would be the gathering spot. Allowing the man to reach his spot, he waited another half hour for other signs of life, but to no avail.

TB lined up his shot, hoping his crossbow had the range, he aimed high in hopes that gravity was on his side. This was his one and only shot this fight, after this, if he failed, he would attack with his katana with his sheath in a shield type of manner, with arrows on the end for a rear defense.

He slowed his breathing, aimed for a good long while, and released the trigger. He watched as the arrow flew, floating through the air as if in slow motion, cutting through the air like a drag racer on the track. The arrow plunged itself hard into the tree just a few feet above the unaware man’s head, and immediately TB sprang into action. Smart action.

He grabbed his katana in his right hand, and his sheath in his left, and quickly and as stealthily as he could get dodged to the left so to confuse his foe.

The man in the tree dropped his hiding spot, and notched an arrow in his bow. TB watched as the man approached slowly and cautiously, arrow point indicating every direction an enemy could possibly be.

TB picks up a rock and throws it into the bushes far to his right, and the man’s attention flew in that direction. TB sprang out from his spot, using quick leaps from side to side, weapons in hand. The man, caught off guard, shot his arrow off to TB’s left and dropped his weapon. He pulled out a shortsword from a sheath from his back, and struggled to ready himself.

TB approached quick, and with a swipe downward, sliced the man’s hamstring while expertly ducking a swipe to his neck by a shortsword.

The man screamed in agony, and fell to his knees, dropping his shortsword. Twilightblade walked to the front of the man, ripped off his dog tag, “Iskander 3.1” and said, “I’m sorry Iskander…” and decapitated him with his katana, like the samurai did to their dishonored fellow men.

TB took his place back at his hiding spot.

Thus being the death of Iskander 3.1, first death of the final phase of the Orgah Battle Royale.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Atheotes, man of strength and endurance, has come to realize that the way of the berserker does not work against projectiles.

With his bow and arrow in hand, he climbed up a tall tree in hopes to find a sniping spot for the last man standing, but once he got up there, he realized this spot is not keeping him covered from the sides and blinded his left flank. So, in desperation, he scouted for another better tree, and saw the perfect spot.

As he began downward climb he noticed some rustling in the bushes up ahead of him. It was a man, sneaking around with his crossbow, and equipped with a broadsword.

Atheotes stopped his descend and watched the man, he continued to look around cautiously for an enemy, but never seemed to bother to look up in the trees, a sore mistake. He slowly ascended back into the tree, knowing the movement at the corner of this man’s eye will draw attention and would be the death of him in this vulnerable spot.

By this count, the man on the ground had stopped on the side of a tree trunk, scouting. Atheotes aimed and fired at the man. The arrow whizzed through the air fast and caught on the outside of the man’s right arm. He yelled, looked up to see the sniper, and ran behind the tree trunk.

Atheotes hurried down, knowing that now that his location has been discovered it would be in his best interest to get on the ground.

The man quickly leaned out from behind his cover and shot off his crossbow one handed, catching Atheotes in the right thigh. Atheotes let out a roar, and painfully ran towards the man, scimitar in hand. The man, who could not reload his crossbow, and did not even try, threw his pocket knife quickly at Atheotes. The handle made hard contact on Atheotes’s head despite his best efforts to dodge him, but that simply fueled his rage.

Atheotes crash hard down on the man and swiped him down the chest with his scimitar. The deep gash sent blood flying in a spray that covered Atheotes’s face. The man, feeling the pain from the arrow and now a mortal blade wound, fell backwards onto his back.

Atheotes, knowing full well of the consequences, pull out his own pocket knife and jumped down onto the man to stab him in the neck. On his way down, the man pulled out a sharpened stick and angled it into Atheotes’s stomach.

Atheotes felt the wound but connected with his stab. He rolled over to recognize his opponent as dead and his life tattered. He looked at the man’s dog tag, “CountArach”.

Askthepizzaguy had snuck up on the two lying there as Atheotes checked the man’s dog tag. “Who was he?” ATPG asked Atheotes. Frightened up unable to move very far, Atheotes pull out his pocket knife to try and deter ATPG.

He pulled out and dual wielded his freshly cleaned pair of machetes and approached Atheotes, who thrashed wildly with his knife. ATPG gave a quick swing with his right hand machete and felt the blade scream through Atheotes’s wrist.

Atheotes’s scream could be heard for miles around. He had suffered and continued to suffer, but he also continue to fight back, kicking at ATPG.

ATPG kicked Atheotes in the side, took the air out of him, put the two machetes to his neck like an X and without hesitation sliced his throat. ATPG took Atheote’s dog tag, CountArach’s that Atheotes had rightfully earned, and the three others that CountArach had in his pocket.

Thus being the death of CountArach and Atheotes, second and third deaths of the final phase of the Orgah Battle Royale.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Cultured Drizzt fan too was a native of this area, for this was his second day. He and Twilightblade were fortunate enough not to find each other in the previous round.

Cultured is a man of superior stealth and slightly below average strength, speed, and endurance. His style of fighting proved to support that.

He found a large oak tree surrounded by thick bushes and an undergrowth, oddly similar to TB’s plan, battle axe by his side, cat o’ nine tails and long knife at his belt, and crossbow at the ready.

After not long at all a man of somewhat superior strength and balanced speed, stealth, and endurance approached CDF’s hiding spot with seeming intentions to climb the oak. With a bow and arrow in hand and a longsword on his back in a sheath, he appeared to be a formidable opponent.

CDF spied as the man approached his encampment, and he must admit it was a brilliant place to be. He aimed his crossbow at the man, aiming for a headshot. If it landed, it would save CDF a ton of time and effort he could use for later. He lined his shot and began to pull the trigger when a scream was heard from their South. The man looked over in that direction quickly, and dropped to the ground quickening his pace towards CDF’s outpost.

CDF pulled the trigger just as the scream sounded and missed the man's head. He hesitated, rolled over to his side under a thicker part of the brush, and held his battle axe in his left hand and his long knife in his right.

The man was just on the edge of the brush line and was indicating that he didn’t notice the arrow had been fired, which was a good thing for CDF, who hopped up onto his feet in a squatting position, ready to pounce on the man when he came into the clearing between the bushes and the tree. Long knife in his right hand, and battle axe at the ready on the ground to his left, a quick weapon was his best choice.

The man entered the small clearing and spun around to make eye contact with CDF, but it was too late for the poor guy. For the long knife was plunged deeply into his chest, through the heart.

CDF took his dog tag, “Greyblades” and took the other he had in his pocket.

Thus being the death of Greyblades, fourth death of the final phase of the Orgah Battle Royale.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Askthepizzaguy mobilized after killing Atheotes, knowing that hearing two screams would bring in new prey he waited behind a tree and watched the only opening to the path.

He was a powerful man, developed entirely in strength and endurance, wielding a katana on his back, two machetes at his sides, some throwing knives on his belt, and a bow and arrow in his hand, he was ready for anything.

Twilightblade too mobilized after making his kill, slowly and stealthily he made his way towards the screams, knowing full well sitting and waiting would just cause this game to last much longer than necessary. He wielded a crossbow, katana, and a pocketknife. That’s all he needed to win the next fight. He watched ahead of him, and to his sides. The killer was somewhere, he could feel it.

ATPG saw TB creeping through the forest and waited, back against the tree, facing away from him. He had devised a plan and had set down his bow and arrow on the other side just a bit closer to TB than himself hidden beneath the bushes, but in an easily reachable place.

TB had too seen ATPG, for his foot had unluckily been showing since TB had entered the area. He had a plan as well.

ATPG stood and waited, eyes closed, breathing calmly. TB’s breath remained calm as well, his crossbow at the ready.

ATPG made the first move, dodging to his right, machetes in hand, and ran towards TB.

TB aimed quick and fired his crossbow, aiming for the chest. The arrow grazed ATPG’s arm, tearing his shirt and leaving a small scratch. At this TB dropped his crossbow, unsheathed his katana, and held it in his right hand while using the sheath as a deflecting tool.

ATPG angled to his right and threw his first machete overhead with a vertical spin motion towards TB’s torso, immediately spinning to his left in a 360 matter throwing his second machete in a horizontal spinning motion at TB’s face and neck. TB, using his katana sheath and katana, deflected the first machete and jumped into a roll to his right. ATPG, bringing out his katana hoisted it to his left at TB’s rolling body in a spear throw method, hoping for impalement. TB got onto his feet but was caught off guard by the flying katana, barely ducking and losing his balance.

At this, ATPG ran towards him, pulled out his pocket knife and held it in stabbing position, blade downward, did a roll towards TB who was currently dodging a flying katana, and on his way up drove the knife up TB’s groin area gutting him, cutting through the rib cage, and going up into the neck and face. ATPG flew upwards in a flying punch motion, taking with his knife TB’s life.

Blood went everywhere, and covered ATPG from head to toe, weapons, clothing, skin, all were dripping read. His eyes, seemingly glowing with bloodlust.

Thus being the death of Twilightblade, fifth death of the final phase of the Orgah Battle Royale.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Cultured Drizzt fan watched ATPG gut TB for afar, and saw what this man was capable of. He had one shot to do some damage with his crossbow before he had to take it into melee. He couldn’t be accurate enough with his crossbow to be far enough back to get more than one shot, but he wasn’t going to get too close and ruin his one and only shot. He remained back where he was, and aimed with his crossbow.

ATPG retrieved his machetes and katana who of which had landed in separate spots on the trail and got back by his tree to recuperate. This was fine with CDF, because at this angle ATPG’s entire right side was fully exposed.

CDF aimed and fired, hoping for a headshot but this was fool proof to at least hit somewhere.

A gust of wind, at the very worst time, pushed his arrow into the tree. ATPG’s attention went from the arrow to CDF’s direction and finally onto CDF himself. ATPG, arrow notched on his bow, aimed and pulled in CDF’s direction. The blood red man looked crazed and begin running towards CDF.

Luckily for CDF, the arrow was misjudged and flew off to his left.

CDF advanced quickly as well, battle axe in his right hand, long knife in his left, cat o’ nine tails at his belt, and pocket knife clipped on his pocket.

ATPG dual wielded his machetes once again, and fully expecting CDF to be coming after him with a battle axe, did not project them like he did with TB. He needed these weapons to deflect the heavy weapon.

CDF, who saw that ATPG had not yet thrown his machetes, knew what to do. He jumped to the right side, and hurled the battle axe in a semi-vertical motion towards ATPG, who in response, ducked hard and fast to his bottom right and hurled his machete.

CDF dodged this in a continued rightward direction and used his cat o’ nine tails to tie up ATPG’s left hand, which wielded his second machete, and pulled the weapon out of his hand. While at the same time, ATPG used his free right hand to unsheathe his katana.

They ran towards each other, ATPG’s katana versus CDF’s long knife. ATPG swung hard to his attacker’s knees but was evaded with a rather high jump. CDF kicked him in the face and ran his long knife hard against the side of ATPG’s neck. Blood drained from the wound but it was angled too far downward to actually be a mortal wound.

ATPG ran forward, as CDF ended up behind him and to the right, spun around and spear threw his katana at CDF in the air. CDF, who was turning at the time, was caught off guard by this throw, as was TB, but the throw was off and it merely clipped his ear.

“This is my time!” ATPG yelled. CDF turned around, fully aware of ATPG running towards him with his pocket knife in stabbing position just as he did to TB. CDF remained facing the other way, listened for the roll, and when ATPG did so, CDF took a giant step forward, jumped high off his front leg, spun in the air, and threw his long knife into ATPG’s neck as he came up from his roll just a step short of CDF.

ATPG fell backwards hard from the shock and pain of the knife in his throat, and attempted to get up, but blood was entering his lungs.

CDF walked up to the dying ATPG, took his dog tag, and said, “That was for my father.”

Thus being the death of Askthepizzaguy, sixth death of the final phase of the Orgah Battle Royale.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Congratulations Cultured Drizzt fan for winning Zain’s first Orgah Battle Royale!!!

I would just like to say thank you CDF for such amazingly detailed orders. I realized very early in the game that the statistics behind the characters and the equipment they held didn’t really affect how they did in the game near as much as the detail and effort they put into their orders.

CDF’s order was long, detailed, and somewhat creative. He often used ideas like pit traps and other types of traps to conquer foes.

Askthepizzaguy’s order was the longest in the end, being about 1.5X the length of CDF’s.

“Action: Move east to location C3

Set mode to INSANE BERSERKER ATTACK!!!!!

Now is the winter of our discontent
Made glorious massacre by this Pizzaguy;
And all the blood that raineth down upon the ground
In the cold, unforgiving bosom of the soil buried.

Before I enter location C3 I kneel and pray to the blood god to grant me demonic powers, and to not rest until every one of them is slaughtered.

Armed with my trusty bow I wait, and sneak carefully toward the melee, ducking behind each tree. I aim at whichever one of them has the bow and arrows, and I fire off my arrows as fast as possible to dispatch them. Then, with all but a few arrows used up, I drop the bow to the ground and attack.

Atheotes

I unleash one of my throwing knives at atheotes, while charging in his direction, bloodcurdling scream erupting from my lips like a banshee. I aim for his chest, and when he moves I let loose another one, aiming for his stomach. If he's still standing I whip out my first machete and slice his head clean off. Then I roll on the ground toward my next victim.

(in whichever order applies)

Greyblades

I whip out my other Machete and I knock Greyblades' weapon out of his hand (or sever his hand) with my left Machete and block any blows coming at me with my right. Then the left Machete takes off his head in one smooth motion. After this I block any incoming blows with my right machete and whip one of them at the next victim, standing a few feet away.

CountArach

The machete either impales CountArach in the chest, or he is forced to deflect it with his weapon, or he rolls out of the way. If he is down, I roll toward him and withdraw the weapon from his chest. If he deflects it, I smash his weapon out of his hands with my other machete and kick him in the face, causing him to go down.
I duck and grab my second machete and slice his torso in half with a terrifying blow.

Iskander 3.1

I whip my first machete at Iskander, and then use that free hand to unleash a throwing knife toward anyone else that may be coming toward me. I whip my second machete at Iskander, and unleash my katana. Having to dodge the flying whirling blades will make Iskander unprepared for a lethal downwards strike as I roll toward him. The katana should slice clean through anything besides another katana, given how strong both it and I are. Upon his death, I sheathe my Katana and grab the two machetes that are either impaled in the ground or in my opponent. Next up is twilightblade and Cultured Drizzt Fan.

Cultured Drizzt Fan

I keep both Twilightblade and Cultured Drizzt fan to my front. I use my big machetes to deflect any incoming fire. I go for whichever one of them has only one melee weapon in his hands, or whichever one looks the most wounded, in that order. Against the man with one melee weapon, a downward killing blow must be deflected with one motion, leaving his head and neck exposed to the other. Off goes his head. Assuming this is Cultured Drizzt Fan, I move on to the next opponent. I immediately dodge sideways to avoid any projectile weaponry, and then I cartwheel and land on my feet, facing Twilightblade.

Twilightblade

At this point if Twilightblade is the bow and arrow person, I should be fine if I dive behind a tree and force him to engage me in melee combat. I am hoping I already shot him earlier with my own bow and arrows if this is the case. If he has no crossbow or bow or other projectile launcher, then I utter one last scream, as the blood drips off of my face and clothes and weaponry.

I charge toward Twilightblade with both Machetes in hand, using them to deflect any thrown or shot projectiles. As I approach, I unleash them both in his direction... one thrown overhand, so it spins in a vertical way, aimed at his torso. A split second later I let go of the other one as I turn and spin, it is launched in a horizontal spinning motion towards his chest and neck, hoping to decapitate him. Making note of which direction he dodges, I unsheathe my katana and I throw it in a non-spinning motion, blade first, such that it impales him through the torso. The three different thrown blades coming in at different angles and trajectories should be all but impossible to dodge or deflect, but when this is done, I roll toward the original spot where I had dumped my bow and arrows (3 remaining). I cartwheel and grab the items off of the ground while spinning, turn and aim and fire the first arrow at his chest. Then I approach as fast as I can while firing the second arrow at his legs, and getting closer, I fire the third and final arrow at his face, dropping the bow as I do this, and snapping open my pocket knife. I roll low to the ground to avoid an attack and I rise in an "uppercut" fashion like they do in fighting games, with the pocket knife in hand, severing him from the groin to the abdomen to the chest, neck, and face, in one unbroken and horrifying motion. Then I grab his face and headbutt him as hard as humanly possible, shattering his nose and driving the bone deep into his skull, instantly killing him.

Summary:

1. Approach carefully and from the brush, targeting anyone with projectile weapons first.
2. Attack each person in sequence, as if this was one long, flowing, pre-planned attack; as if I were facing one target. Move from one fallen foe to the other.
3. Use the arrows first, leaving only a few for the final confrontation.
4. Use the throwing knives to keep people off of my back as I move from victim to victim.
5. Use thrown knives and machetes to force a deflection, dodge, or death. Keeping the opponent off-balance and already in the process of dodging or deflecting an attack will make it easier for me to press the attack based on where they are standing and where they have moved to. Use my ten-rated strength to overpower their weapons by knocking them out of their hands or severing their wrists or hitting them with a lethal blow that they absolutely must deflect (or die) and then hit them again while the are using all their effort and strength to prevent the first blade from killing them.
6. When decapitating an opponent, treat this as a full on melee situation and keep moving, rolling, or dodging in case someone throws a weapon or fires an arrow. Always stay in motion, and do not allow myself to get surrounded; keep enemies to my front whenever possible. Go around the outside of the melee if possible. Never stay in the same spot.
7. The strength of my throws should make up for my lack of running speed; my thrown weapons move much faster than I do.

8. I don't really expect to survive this or actually kill everyone, however if they are busy targeting one another, there is a chance this can work. I am hoping my unused Endurance points will allow me to shrug off any non-lethal blows.

I hope to kill at least one or two of them... I definitely don't want to just die like a sucker after only one successful kill all game and no damage, being armed to the teeth like this.”

This was by far the longest order I have received in this game, but ATPG waited until the final round to give me such amazing detail. CDF was much more consistent. Here is his order.

“And so the final day approaches. The plan is this.

Find the thickest brush and area of undergrowth I can, while also finding a place I can easily see the area around me. Basically find an area of dense growth that has little places to hide if you were to go any farther. Hhhmmmm.….. Not sure if that makes sense, I want a place where the brush is like a island, with the underbrush and then an open area I could see everything in. After have found this place settle into it. Use my axe to cut down some of the smaller trees in the area and create almost a little fortress, for added cover. So stack the trees up into a little box in the center of the brush, hidden from view. All of this should be done as quickly as possible, then I should settle into my hiding place. All of my weapons should be placed at my sides, so I can grab them easily. (Except my Cat o’ nine and Long knife, which should be on my belt.) Then I should stay as still and silent as possible while scrutinizing the area around my fort, do a 360 view every minute, and any motion should be zoomed in on and watched closely. Crossbow should be kept out and ready to fire. Any targets that pop out should be watched closely, But not engaged just yet. Keep as hidden as possible, If I work things out properly then I should never even be discovered until everyone else is dead.

If anyone appear in my area they should be watched closely, and The following should be noted
1. Are they trying to hide or just burst in? If they are hiding extra caution should be put on them, and I should check in more often to make sure I do not lose them.
2. What kind of Weapons do they have? Important to battle strategy, also I have special orders for anyone I find who has a bow…..

Keep a strong vigilance, and know where everyone is at any moment. Keep up watch and see if I can not figure out where every living person in the zone is. Try and stay hidden as long as possible, and not get seen by anyone as they rip each other apart. If that fails then my orders are below, if it succeeds then do as follows. Keep track of any fights that develop. Soon enough the fighters will start killing each other, and their focus will not be on snooping around for anyone hiding. I should wait until there are about two or so people left, and then get ready for my move.
When it looks like one is gaining the upper hand on the other one then fire at the one who is winning, aim for the head and try and get a quick kill. After that try to nock a second arrow and fire that as well (either at the man I shot before, if he is alive, or at the other guy, if my first target is dead) And then take up the weapon suitable for the fight and kill the sucker!

It is likely I will not be able to stay hidden all that time and get such a perfect position, so if I am spotted then do the following.
As soon as I realize I have been spotted fire my crossbow at whoever spotted me, and then burst out with my axe and try to end the fight fast. After that turn and face any other attackers that may be around me, and use the battle orders below. If someone starts getting too close to my hiding place and I think I can take him out without attracting to much attention to me then jump out and ambush with my battle axe, chop off their foot and lob off their head.

Battle orders:
If my opponent is using a light weapon then start off by using the Battle axe to overwhelm them. Which I believe will probably fail, so throw the battle axe and use it as a distraction to give me time to get out my knife and Cat o’ nine, which I will use to try and quickly incapacitate my enemy with hits to vital areas as my Cat o’ nine keeps his weapon wrapped up. Keep the kill quick, then turn and see if anyone else wants a piece of this. Stay out of my opponents reach until I think I have a opening, Then press in.

Heavy weapon then keep the battle axe and aim low with my hits, for the feet. Cripple as soon as possible, then go for a kill strike. Stay out of reach as much as possible.

As for ranged weapons, use my crossbow to try and take them out from afar, or at least hit their arm badly enough to ruin any accuracy they have. If the shot is not successful the go for a kill blow with my axe after running up while staying behind cover. IT IS IMPERITIVE TO KILL ALL THOSE WITH RANGED WEAPONS. And also to do so in the most efficient way possible. If I do not think I can make a head shot from the distance I am at, then aim for the shoulder of the target. A crossbow bolt to the shoulder should be good enough to make sure any retaliatory shots are horribly inaccurate. However, even so I should stay behind cover as much as possible while going after anyone with a bow. After getting close throw the axe to interrupt any shot they are making and slit their throat. If I see anyone with a bow they have highest priority to be eliminated.

It is likely I will face multiple opponents, If so I should keep a strong defensive posture and see if the two are also fighting each other. If so then press hard at one and try and finish them off quickly and then attack the other. Only try such a thing after I have done something to distract the other person. Said distraction could be anything.

Above all caution and staying hidden are the best orders of the day. I want to come out on top. The Ghillie suit ninja will be Victorious.

One last thing. If I am figured out and have to charge in I want my battle cry to be this every time I swing my axe. "This one is for me father! And this one is for me fathers father! And this one is for me fathers fathers father!" and so on. I would be much obliged”

The both of them deserved to be in the finals. But overall, I enjoyed the heck out of this game.

One of the most memorable things for me was Centurion1’s battle plan. He was one of about two or so people who did something with his tent besides using it as bait, which was he used the material and made a sort of net with it. Then he fashioned a spear together and javelins and made himself a gladiator style fighting system. The only other person to use the tent was CDF, who used it to make the cat o’ nine tails. Centurion’s demise was his failure to send in an order right after he made his first kill. CountArach was stalking the man he killed, and was able to kill the orderless Centurion.

Enough said about that though.

Congratulations Cultured Drizzt fan once again.

Because you have won this game, you will be rewarded in the next battle royale game, “Battle Royale II: The Mansion”, if you so choose to compete. Sign-ups are up in the “Battle Royale Symposium” thread and will be continued in the official thread coming up tomorrow along with the map and new rule updates.

Thank you all for playing! Sadly I did not keep records of what happened to all of the characters until about halfway through, but next time around I’m keeping everything, and there will be a synopsis of every person’s every action at the end of BR2.

With that, I bid you all farewell, until next time.

I originally started the game in D2 of the original map I believe. My strategy was dependent on searching for weapons while avoiding conflict. I moved to the side of the map to allow you fellows to kill each other off.

I moved to D1 and sent in the following orders pretty consistently:

Move north to location A2. Set mode to attack.

Repeat yesterday's orders. Here they are for your convenience.

Set mode to attack.

Detailed information: Approach location A2 with caution. Keep an eye out for ambushes and traps. Search the area very carefully, taking note of anything on the ground, in the brush, or in the trees. Anticipate an attack from above, especially.

If there is someone present in the area, and they hold the superior position (such as up in a tree, or they have a ranged weapon) then attempt to find cover. Do not let them hit me at range, there is a lot of trees and brush; ranged weapons should be worthless here. Any kind of explosive weaponry or fire-based weapons would cause me to withdraw and retreat back to A3 if possible.

If I come across someone who is on foot and on the ground, I dare them to attack me. I do not rush blindly forward, I wait for them to come to me. (This should avoid defensive traps which catch someone foolishly advancing) They may attempt to flee, and if they do so, let them flee. If they attack me, I will wield my newfound Machete in one hand and my knife in the other, and use the longer blade to keep them at a distance from me. Should they get too close, stab them in a vital area, like the inside of the thigh/leg, to sever a major artery. Use the machete defensively to block any physical blows. Use the brute force of my legs to kick them hard in the shins or the groin, and if they become stunned, use the machete to hack their head clean off.

If I kill them, scavenge any weapons or food or other items they may have been carrying. Check the area for food and weapons or anything I could use to make a trap. Look out for poisonous plants or animals or other hazards.

When the area has been searched and secured, dig a small ditch approximately three feet deep in the center of the clearing, long enough for a person to lay down comfortably in it. Use my hands if I have to, for digging, though any rocks or other tools besides my weapons would be preferable. This ditch is where I will be sleeping. Pitch the tent and have it cover the ditch, with the floor of the tent covering me as I sleep. Be sure to toss the dirt into the deep brush so it does not look like I have done this. The objective here is to make it seem as though there is no one in the tent and it has been abandoned. If someone tries to enter the tent, they will fall through the floor into the ditch unexpectedly and I will stab them with my machete.

I may not be particularly proficient at this, but it should be enough to confuse them and gain a surprise attack against anyone who did not see me dig the ditch.

Next, take any long vines that I might see in the area and cut them with my machete. Use them to make tripwires, which should be placed in the deep brush to make them less visible. If anyone enters the clearing, they might cross the tripwire. The vines will run underneath the tent, under my body where I will be sleeping, so if someone trips on them, it tugs hard enough to wake me up.

If I suck at this, hey, at least I tried. And feel free to call me paranoid... :laugh4:

Anyways. Those are my orders.

I was hoping simply to get lucky and avoid all combat until the end, like a coward. :laugh4: However, I ran into Craterus on Day Five and I had to get rid of him. He was just like me in many ways... same set-up, same weapon.

Equipment:
Pocket Knife

Machete

As you travel North you come across a clearing in the forest. Odd…

You see another man at the end, staring you down. The two of you are similarly build, big and strong, bulky, with low speed and stealth. Oddly enough, the both of you carry machetes.

The man yells from the other end of the clearing. “We are similar, let’s ally together. We could win this!” You have no want for this type of relationship, but figure to get close you have to agree.

“Aye!” You yell back and begin to approach him. He doesn’t seem to have fallen for it but advances as well. Once the two of you get close enough, he doesn’t drop his guard. The two of you stare each other down for a good while. There will be no alliance today.

He blinks and sneezes at the same time, perfect opportunity! You quickly bring out your knife and go for a stab to a vital area between the ribs. But he realizes at the last second and catches your blade with his palms. He kicks your shin, knees you in the stomach and pushes you back. Machete in hand he swings towards you but is unsuccessful. You realize that you barely out power him.

You bring yourself back into a superior position with your machete in hand, and rush him, going to an elbow to his face. It catches him and he falls to the ground. You get on top of him, disarm him, and tell him, “The woman told you not to trust anyone.” And decapitated him with your machete.

You read his dog tag, “Craterus” and put it in your pocket.

Then you see foot prints leading to the East…

Coordinates schedules to explode next round: A2, A4, B1, B5, D1, D5, E2, E4

What do you do? Where do you go?

After that, I was forced to the center by the exploding map. I used Craterus' machete and his pocket knife, combined with my machete and pocket knife, to basically become a guy with two machetes and throwing knives, and thus incorporating 4 blades into my act I became the thrown blade guy. Then I found a katana and it just got ridiculous.

I also found a bow and arrow, but to be honest, killing people with a bow and arrow is lame. Must battle to the death! I used it pretty much specifically against other people with bow and arrow. Only they deserved to die that way. Everyone else deserved to be decapitated or impaled, like a man.

My stats were

Strength- 10
Speed- 1
Endurance- 8
Stealth- 1
Luck- 5

On the following reasoning:

Stealth does not help one win a battle except for sneak attacks, and if the stealth fails, what then? Only strength, luck, and speed really come into play. I'm not one to rely on luck. To me, luck and stealth are in the same category; they are useful in avoiding attacks, but if I want to do that I simply hide on the side of the map, which I did. Don't need stealth for that. As for luck, it's great but it seems to always run out. I needed something more real.

Speed was something I considered, but any strong fighter with a lucky shot could pretty much kill you instantly. Running around in circles frantically, making lots and lots of quick strikes with a katana, let's say; sure that's cool and all. But if you don't spend points on Strength you risk being overpowered. If you don't spend points on Endurance you risk dying from a glancing blow. If you don't excel in the categories which count, you risk dying against someone with similar stats. Like Craterus.

Craterus apparently went for the same strategy as me, only a little more balanced. As such, I overpowered him. I was hoping that I could overpower the first couple people I meet and shrug off some of their hits. I wanted to be tough and beastly, like an orge or a berserker. Yes, this leaves me vulnerable to a strong, speedy dude with a Katana or a lucky guy with a bow. That's why I hated anyone with a bow and arrow (also lame battles) and I hated anyone with a katana. I knew that a katana makes up for lame stats because it can cut through just about anything and anybody. It was perhaps the most lethal weapon out there... lethal to me anyway. When I found a bow and arrow and a katana I nearly soiled myself.

Strength:

Maximum strength means I overpower everyone except strength 10 people. That's when I rely on superior endurance and 50% luck. I was hoping that I could just tear through people with my blades and/or knock their weapons from their hands. If they managed to whip out a hidden blade and stab me or something, or got in a lucky shot, well done. But the last thing I wanted to do this game was just get knocked off right away with a limp hit that would barely cause a scratch. If I was going to die, I wanted to make sure they earned it with clever strategy or just superior luck/weaponry. I don't mind losing as long as I'm a tough opponent.

Endurance:

I wanted to die gloriously, so shrugging off hits was essential. No one remembers a guy who dies in a single blow. I want you to hit me, come on I want you to do it. Hit me. HIT ME!!!!

Luck:

Probably dangerous not to spend points here. Gotta cover your butt so you're not a totally unlucky schmuck.

I'm happy that my awesome uppercut involving the knife got into the final story. That's a pretty bad-ash finishing move. Being a berserker with tons of blades, covered in blood, yeah that's me.

I love this one, in case you didn't read my long final order, at least read this part.

Every single round my order was to attack, and I warned everyone at the start of the game I would kill anyone I met, and never ally with anyone, and I kept my word on that. I hope this proves I'm capable of working alone.

Did anyone here forge alliances with anyone? I note that Craterus appeared to be asking for an alliance. Anyone else?

I wanted to customize my character more, before Zain apparently started everyone off with just a pocket knife and a tent.

I wanted my character to be a guy dressed as a bard, playing a lute. But my deal was that I wasn't really a bard, I was a berserker, and my lute wasn't really a lute, it was a giant pizza cutter with jagged blades. On the front side would be a lute, but flip it over and you'd see a massive rotating serrated blade, covered in blood (or is it pizza sauce?).

I'd bash people over the head with it and carve them into small triangular slices. It would have been the best bard ever!

Alas, that was not to be. Still, having a katana, 2 machetes, throwing knives, and a bow and arrow made up for it. :2thumbsup:

I'd like to host one of these, actually. Maybe set it in a Resident-Evil style universe... and best of all, the dead can keep playing as zombies. Anyone interested?

As you travel South you perch your tent into a tree and post up into another one. Watching the horizon for incoming victims you fall victim yourself as a whip of tent cords and parachute wraps your weapon and falls to the ground. This, of course, frightens you and you lose your balance on the tree branch. You catch yourself, see your attacker wearing a gillie suit and holding a long knife, and drop down.

He swings a fast one at your neck, you duck backwards and he expertly drives a foot into your kneecap. You scream and fall, and he hurries up to you and slices your throat without a second’s notice.

:leer: No, no it doesn't. :laugh4::laugh4: you did good though, took a lot of hits.

You set your trap around your previous victim’s body and set up post down the trail from it. Sure enough, a man, weak in stature but looks like he can take hit after hit, wielding a katana, approaches the body cautiously. You do not believe you can take the shot, for he is a small man, but do believe you could sneak up and get close enough to kill him with your crossbow. You drop down from the tree slowly and cautiously, and approach the man, who retreated back to the edge of the path and into the brush. He did not fall for your trap.

You sneak up and get back into a tree, about 20 feet from your trap, to see if you can spot the man.

Down the road, heading away from you, you see him, and take your time with the shot. The tree gives you perfect sight and the elevation to make a long winded shot.

You breathe in slowly, line up your shot, exhale, and release. You watch as the arrow falls down into the mans back right above the left shoulder blade. He recoils from the hit and falls down with a roll, screaming in agony as he does this incredibly controlled movement. He gets up, facing you, but doesn’t seem to see you. Naturally he dives into cover behind a bush. You jump down from your tree and notch another arrow. You do not feel threatened, for this man has no ranged weapons that you could tell.

He jumps out from his spot with his katana in hand, and rushes towards you. You let your second arrow fly and it catches him just above the heart. He recoils, but keeps running.

He gets near you, and thrashes you with his katana. Even with one arm he is a formidable foe. You by this time have your battle axe out and fight with him. He is weak, you are not, and without much trouble you hack him to the ground.

He lies there, cut up and bleeding, and you stare down at him. You watch as he struggles for words, and goes emotionless.

You take his dog tag, “Shlin28” and put it in your pocket with your collection…

GG all. I was playing rather conservatively and really had no reason to be (I assumed there were people with guns out there so I was constantly on the search for a more level playing field) could have had a much better go at it but nevermind.

Apologies for the short orders, I'm not spending more than 30 mins on the internet at a time anymore and it's difficult for me to get to everything.

I believe I may revert back to reading this whenever I fell glum. :beam: I can't get over how much fun this was. Man.... :laugh4:

Read through the thread, pretty glad someone went on to make another Battle Royale. Hopefully there will be another one and I can join for once.
