Hi,

Becose Creative assembly and Nvidea wont help there fans with a update patch for MTW VI and STW
I want to buy a new card wot will run MTW, VI, STW, RTW, MTWII and ETW but also do Photoshop and 3D max9.
My self wos thinking of the ATI Radeon 38xx or 48XX series 1Gig but i wos wondering will it run All series of Total war? and is a 1 Gig card slower than a 512 MB card? and is ATI Radeon simler like Ge force Nvidea card?
Dose anyone got somme experience with this or using ATI radeon or cane sommeone tell me wot card would be recommended to buy

My PC: AMD 64+ 5600 Dual core 2.90 GHz, 500GB Harddisk, 4096 Workmemory, running on XP, got a Ge force 8600 magic 512MB videocard

I could cane you for your "grammar", but to come to the topic, afaik MTW works on ATI cards and NVidia cards before the 8xxx series.
The 1GB cards are not slower than the 512MB cards, at best they're faster, at worst the same as a 512MB version of the same chipset.
Photoshop will work on all of them, 3DS Max should as well.
