The shouts of approval from the soldiers were deafening. Khazaar moved up, thanking his blood enemy, Mara, with a slight nod.

"You know what must be done Ichindar. I will marry your daughter and become the 92nd Emperor."

As the men were prepared for the hanging, Crazed Rabbit was pushed forward into the line, enough people having decided he was a traitor to condemn him to death.

Dead players are also not permitted to vote, even in jest, unless overtly obvious that it is fake and does not draw attention.

Even though - it does not state that I can't reveal stuff that I learned while being alive - I added that as a self-imposed rule.
On the other hand - anything I learn while being dead - is fair game.

Well, in summary we have something along the lines of:

Lynches are apparently separated into a double lynch of sorts every day phase, the current consensus is that the two lynches are typically from different sides of the "Rift", as in different worlds in this universe where the game is centered.

Shlin28 was a person whose objective was to betray some mafia faction, but he did not know their names, but they knew his. After being contacted, and supposedly role blocking them, which ended in the result of less mafia kills early game, exposed their names about 3 phases ago, in the day, Beefy was already dead, AVSM was lynched, and Khazaar, just as we attempted to lynch him, suddenly deposed the Emperor of one of the sides of the Rift, Split, who was revealed just as the game started by the host, and now all who owed split their allegiance previously are now loyal to Khazaar, confounding us, where we now come to the current stage of the game.

Well, that's basically what's been happening in essence, although what Sigurd's been saying also makes no sense :no:

As each person dies, they go to the Halls of the Dead and meet Lims-Kragma to be judged. This is what the Midkemians believe. The Tsurani have different gods.

GeneralHankerchief was sitting alone outside the courtyard. He no longer knew what to do. His shah pieces sat on the ground, he no longer had his playing opponent. A strange man walked up to him and poured water out on to the ground. GH looked at him, with this action, he felt fear from this man.

"You will sleep tonight though, my friend has not joined me..."

With that, the man left, leaving GH contemplating the situation.




The group gathered again in the morning, but again, a few people were late.


Renata woke up feeling groggy. A robed figure was in the doorway, blocking out most of the light. Renata jumped up, hissing.

The figure waved his wands, and said "Why don't you lie down, no need to lose a tooth about it. Or a ring."

Renata struggled, unable to do anything but what was asked.

The body was later found, with multiple hole in the back of it, with small pools of water. It was obvious Renata had laid down on a bed of needles made of ice.

GH had spent the night thinking, mostly about where the wine was to go, when another strange man sat down in front of him.

"I'll take this one." The stranger drank, threw his goblet aside and pulled out his sword, stabbing GH in the heart.



It is now Day 5. Day will end in 24 hours, 31 minutes.

I guess I could give my musings about the game too.

From what has been publicly revealed we know we are dealing with two worlds. Midkemia and Kelewan. They have just recently been involved in a war with each other or are currently engaged in a war. This war started when a rift in the fabric of spacetime connected the two worlds and let people travel from one world to another through it.

Publicly revealed investigations of characters belonging to the Tsuranuranni, identify artefacts that do not belong to the world of Kelewan.
Kelewan is a world which is depleted of natural resources and has been so since the human race of the Tsurani first came to that world, hence items of metal is very rare and even a metal key is worth more than a human life.
Discovering Midkemia with its abundant metal resources was too great a temptation for a warrior nation like the Tsuranuranni. They invaded to claim it for their own.

I don’t know the ratio of players divided to these two worlds, but for balance I would say 50%. We also know that pever has given everyone of us a unique role.

We know that among the Tsurani – we have encountered:

Split – Ichindar, 91st Emperor of the Tsuranuranni.
Khazaar – Tasaio Subcommander of Minwanabi – now the 92nd Emperor of the Tsuranuranni.
Beefy – of the house of Minwanabi
AVSM – of the house of Minwanabi
Shlin28 – Teani, spy for the Lord of house ? (Anasati in the saga)

Also by the use of different public ruses I suspect the following players to be/have been Tsurani:

MRD – used as a ruse, but could easily been Midkemian - but wanted contact with two dual characters (Pug and Charles - Tsurani and citizens of the Kingdom)
Tratorix – voted me when I claimed Tsurani was equal to the enemy.
Askthepizzaguy – voting Midkemian when not supposed to
LittleGrizzly (lynched with WE:D)
Renata – reacted well to my Lady Mara of the Acoma accusations.
GH – playing shah (Tsurani chess)
Scottishranger – “friend” of MRD (voting against my Tsurani = enemy).
Karo – all though could be Dark elf since many of his posts contained questions or comments about this.
Yaseikhaan - ?? very hot in the environment where he was killed = Kelewan. Could be killer fiction.
Double A – voting Midkemian when not supposed to

It is the objection of the Midkemians to kill the Kelewans, and the Kelewans to kill the Midkemians.
It seems the Mafia has won on Kelewan and will concentrate on their secondary goal of getting rid of the Midkemians.



The two worlds have been connected by a rift (Riftwar, geddit?) and have been at war for nearly a decade. If you are from Midkemia, you want the Tsurani dead, if you are from Kelewan, you want the barbarians of Midkemia dead.

There are two towns that are like two mafia games in one with guys who can jump back and forth between either.

Let's say, two guys in group A vote for a guy in group B, but one guy in group A votes for one of the guys in his group and he lynchs that guy, while the guy in group B gets away scot free with two votes on him, which didn't count....I made that overly-complicated:laugh4:

All right, I didn't imagine I'd have survived this long, and I can't reveal after I die, so...

I am Ban-Ath, a God from Midkemia. I can either investigate 2 people, block 2 people, or defend 3 people at night. I am a major pro-town role, and I wanted to get as far as I could without the public reveal, but now I feel it is too risky to go without protection.

I have gathered information from my roleblocking efforts, and will continue to do so. In my opinion the roleblocking is superior to the investigation because it stops a murder in its tracks and still tends to indicate guilt when the number of kills drop. And even if it doesn't, fewer kills is better for the town. I am assuming there are other investigators out there to check certain people, but I'll be using my skills for defense or roleblocking, whichever is a priority. I started off with 3 defenses per night but I really didn't want to end up defending mafia either. I tried to defend people I think would be metagamed early on.

I am willing to be investigated to prove this, but I am frankly too powerful for you guys to get a clear reading. As such I am willing to die whenever. As long as I can serve the town's interests as long as possible, we do have a double lynch we can use to get rid of me whenever is convenient.

I would love to hear who needs to be defended and why, and who needs to be roleblocked and why. Make sure I am defended at night, and make sure there is someone from midkemia on the chopping block every round other than me, until you're ready to kill me.

I also checked who Ban-Ath is, and he's a god of trickery and thieves. So I understand if you don't believe me, that's just how it is.

The town was enjoying some livened debate, with one of its members claiming to be Ban-ath himself. Many laughed, but stopped as they noticed the terrible smell hanging around.

It turned out that no one had removed Crazed Rabbits body from the courtyard.

A few people moved away, hoping that they could forget about it, but the ones that were closer, including the Emperor Khazaar, tried to pretend it was not there.

They couldn't ignore it, when it pulled itself up off the ground and lunged at Khazaar, wearing an evil grin.

A robed figure stopped CR in his tracks, but with a wave of the hand of Khazaar, just let it drop. CR again joined the 'living'.

All right it looks like I'm gonna be lynched. Fair enough, it is a somewhat elegant way of ending my participation in a game I really don't have the time to check much at all. Besides, I'm not sure if I should really be playing anyway due to the fact I corresponded a bit with pever about the game mechanics (don't worry I won't spoil anything because I didn't understand much of it :laugh4:).

Let me explain why you should send Atpg to the gallows with me briefly. His role reveal is pretty obviously a patchwork forgery. He most likely is the god Banath, but his abilities are probably faked/exagerrated. The simple fact that he is a trickster god should be pretty much a giveaway in the first place...

I do agree with the fact that his questionably timed reveal basically has paralyzed him though, but just remember that lynches don't work all easy. Do make a note that his name is public. Go to pever with his name now that you know it.

Banath is a good force and will help save the people of Kelewan of certain death in the future. You are basically dooming your planet by removing Banath.

The group returned to normal after Crazed Rabbit's scene. For some reason, no one even discussed it. Maybe it was because everyone feared his now identifyable Moredhel face. It may have been that topknot, but something didn't look right.

The group had decided to send ATPG to the gallows. He didn't seem sad, or even angry, but happy. Excited, even.

"Oh, I wonder what this will feel like. I only regret I don't have my horse anymore."

As the guards escorted him to the gallows, he reached into a bag he had.

"Orange?" He asked, looking at both of his guards.

"I'll take that as a no." He stuck his thumb into the orange, the juice blinding the guards. He ran away, gleefully, and leaped over the walls, never to be seen again.

To calm to crowd down, it was decided that Reenk should be lynched instead. He was, and it was a normal execution. The crowd had undertones though. Over half their number was dead. What would this night hold?

1) If you all look carefully back at one of my first posts after the game began, in which people were debating whether or not to lynch or murder SplitPersonality because of his position, I made a very tongue-in-cheek indication of what faction I belonged to, the sarcasm of which was likely missed. Nonetheless, some folks initiated a vote against me by misinterpreting my post.

2) My vote for WhiteEyes had as much to do with the fact that I thought he was bluffing as it did with the fact that he and I were tied in votes.

3) Charles and Pug were my friends, as I stated before. I think Pug may have killed me. I chose them completely at random from my list of friends, and it was completely unintentional that those also happened to be two characters with dual citizenships, something I was unaware of until Sigurd pointed it out.

4) I am fairly sure I know who ATPG is, and you all would not be in this mess had you not killed me, as I had the ability to keep him in check. On the other hand, I was also the catalyst for this entire mess by casting the vote that killed White Eyes.

But rhawn was worried, because he was late! He did not get ready in time, and now he had to hurry. He was afraid he would still be late, though, and wouldn't see his friends at all!

This worried rhawn very much. rhawn also worried that his friends would think he didn't like them. So rhawn put on his coat as quick as he could, though not forgetting to button every button as his mother had taught him. There was, rhawn knew, no point in going outside of your room if you weren't dressed right!

With the final button buttoned, rhawn rushed out the doorway, nearly knocking someone down!

"Oh my, I'm sorry!" said rhawn to the man in dark robes, "I'm in a hurry and forgot my manners!" rhawn knew the best thing to do was apologize.

"That's no problem," the man in the robes said, his hands subtly gesturing, "But you look like you're awfully rushed. Why don't you slow down and take a deep breath?"

That was a good idea, thought rhawn, so he drew in a deep breath, then let it out. But then he couldn't take another breath! Try as he might, his lungs wouldn't move and the air sat stagnant. His face contorted in horrible ways but he did not give in. He had worked too hard to get where he was. He had a vision for himself, for a high position in the future. Hands crept their way around to a pouch on his belt and then whipped forward. The small glass bottle shattered on the man in the robes, starting a fire on him. Immediately rhawn felt free. The burning remains of Crazed Rabbit would trouble him no more. As he walked away, the figure that had been watching and smiling as Crazed Rabbit was winning cursed and retreated back.

Khazaar was relaxing in the imperial suite. Nothing had bothered him for many hours now, he knew peace. The land was to know peace. The common people feared and as an extension of that, respected him, Emperor Tasaio. Footsteps approached, but Tasaio was not idle anymore. These were heavier than the normal sound of feet, these feet made strong noise.

Unsheathing his ever-present sword, Tasaio crouched into his battle ready pose, when a massive figure rounded the corner. It stood over two feet taller than him, in full metal armour, more pricely than his own. The figure unsheathed its massive metal sword, and cut Tasaio down where he stood.

Yet again some people had not arrived.


Karo was supervising a patrol returning from outlying fields. Ever present, the crutch he used did not hinder him. As he returned to his room to prepare himself for the long day ahead, a robed figure stood again in his doorway. Karo knew his room stood too far away to call for help, so he stood waiting for this person's next move. Even though the figure was hooded, Karo sensed a smile. An inferno erupted out of nowhere, consuming the entire block of rooms, and incinerating Karo. The man stood at the centre unharmed, brushed some dust off his shoulders and went to join the others at the meeting.

That means Death is Yonder could be a Saaur warrior, kin to the lizzard people. They were enormous and powerful. The Pantathian priests were more or less magicians and could be some of the dark robed killers running around.

Pantathians and Saaur are trouble and should be second in priority to the Nighthawks or the Necromancer, if he exists.

So any investigator out there. If you come across lizard clues, gold necklaces with a hawk on it or necromancy - spill your guts.
The name Leso Varen is a big baddy. Any info on him must be put forward. If you know who he is and can block or kill - take appropriate action ASAP ZULU. He should have been dead yesterday.

Alright, it looks like someone has a bounty of me head. Its time for me to reveal what I can while I may. I wish I could do more for us Midkemians and Prince Arutha but here's what I got.

I am Jimmy the Hand, the youngest master thief in all of Krondor. I am supposed to help Prince Arutha but I also answer to the Upright Man and the Day and Night Masters. I have not been able to locate any of these people. I have a minor investigative role which allows me to steal from 3 people every night and get an item associated with them. Here are my results thus far.

I've used the Riftwar legend series (barely) (Honoured Enemey, Murder in LaMut, Jimmy the Hand), Magician, Silverthorn, A Darkness as Sethanon and the Empire Trilogy.

Krondors Son's is afterwards and features Arutha's kids to Kesh, no? Only read them once. The plot against the empress?

He was barely distracted when a figure entered the room, but when it advanced, he looked up.
This...thing was at least three heads taller than him, it was massive. It eminated power.
As he was about to shout out for help, the figure unsheathed a glowing sword and with a flick of the wrist, sliced clean through johnhughthom from top to bottom.
We know Ashen-Shugar had a golden sword, but not a glowing sword, or did it glow when used with magic? (can't remember). I can say that Ashen Shugar did not knowingly kill anyone, at any time in the game. However, considering what happened with Crazed Rabbit, the possibility that someone controlled Ashen-Shugar is there. But again - he is not DiY - so DiY was another 7 feet and armoured warrior.

We don't know if the Pantathians is present. I know the host mentioned the Pantathians once in this game, but alluded to greater evils to worry over.

I was asking for investigations that could inform us of clues of the pantathians. We have the Hadati with us, which should indicate that the Moredhel is on rampage. And since we are dealing with the books Silverthorn (the intro of this game) we should face Murmandamus a Moredhel general and his undead Black Slayers. Which indicates necromancy. Coming to think about it, Murmandamus was a Pantathian priest in disguise with necromancy powers.

DiY and the killer of johnhughthom could be a large Black slayer.

Chaotix was under verbal fire from everyone today, he did not understand why. Apparently someone had sneaked into his room, and found nothing. But how can one that does not truely exist have a room? The crowd wanted blood, but Chaotix could not be found. In fact, no one had ever seen him. It was as though he was dead all along, never alive.

Morning had come, again the group had gathered. Only 10 appeared though. The ten of them discussed what was happening, and awaited the arrival of the others, or confirmation of their death.

Sasaki Kojiro was waking up, rubbing sleep from weary eys, when a figure blocked the doorway. Having heard how this person comes into the doorway, Sasaki was about to call for help, when the figure yelled out "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" and stamped his staff into the ground.

In that instant, they were teleported, standing on the clouds above the city of Kesh.

We have to work out this within the rules. It could be Sasaki aren't responsible for your death. It is obvious that you were attacked by a third figure.
Your attacker hissed --- the same hissed as found in Renata's death? Could your attacker have been a Nighthawk? the kill method is not mentioned, but you probably died a Obi Wan Kenobi death.

Well, I am not intimate with this particular game's mechanics, but I know a few things from the books. (pever has stated though that having a knowledge of the lore is not necessarily helpful)

I know that the Nighthawks are a band of assassins. They were adversaries to the good guys in the books. pever has confirmed that the Midkemian Mafia are assassins. And there were kills done by crossbows. Cross reference this with the public investigations and kill descriptions, I would say that the assessment of Nighthawks = mafia is correct.

If we should go by Captain B's investigations, we should assume that Centurion 1 is a Nighthawk.
(hawk medallion, black clothing and crossbow).

On the other hand I also know that the Moredhel is evil - and an powerful adversary to the Kingdom of the Isles. The Kingdom is the good guys and I therefore assume that the moredhel is the bad guys.

Now.. I was led to believe that you were a Hadati, but Captain B. names you a moredhel. You can of course not reveal, but for now I draw the conclusion that we have moredhel in the game wether you was one or not.

Chaotix was under verbal fire from everyone today, he did not understand why. Apparently someone had sneaked into his room, and found nothing. But how can one that does not truely exist have a room? The crowd wanted blood, but Chaotix could not be found. In fact, no one had ever seen him. It was as though he was dead all along, never alive.
