I was wondering if it was possible to make use of the prospective triumphator trait to roleplay Sulla or Caesar's march on Rome? I'm into the Marian era in my Romani campaign just now and think it'd be fun to roleplay the extreme amounts of power generals had after the reforms. However, I haven't earned te prospective triumphator trait since I thought of this and was wondering if anyone knew what happened if you march on Rome before you've earned your triumph? Does the senate regard you as a tyrant for Rubicon crossing or do you just get disqualified from a triumph? :book:

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure what happens. There may be something in the script that would do something about that.

It causes a large loss of influence rather than large influence bonus.

Yeah, you lose influence. I think 3..

When you get that trait, how long does it take the senate to call you back? Is it a random amount of time or do you have to fight more battles or do you have to do something else to be called back?

I've also noticed that I'm more likely to get the imperator trait/traits involved with a triumph when I do autocalc, is this true or am I just as likely when I fight battles manually?
