Please discuss here the mini-mod ideas for EB 2. I know it might be a bit too early for this but a lot can be done/researched before EB 2 is actually released. So if something good comes out of this the work can already start and fasten the whole process of making a mini-mod.

I think it's a little early to talk about minimods, don't you? I mean the purpose of a mini-mod is to change something that some people don't like about the original one, so how can you know what you won't like in EB2 since we don't know practically anything about the mod?
I really don't understand the point behind your reasoning. It's impossible to suggest anything, since practically anything could be in the pure EBII

Well I do not think that the purpose of mini-mod is to change something I do not like about the original, more like adding sth... I had in mind mini-mods like AtB or mod centered around certain faction which is not likely to make it into EB2 (like the Jewish faction etc) or particular campaign(Alexander, Caesar). The research and some limited work could be done simultaneously with the development of EB2 so a lot could be prepared when the EB2 is ready.

Naval, forts, city and more turns per year mini-mods if they are not already to be implemmented in EB2
