Modding sarissa

What do you think about 3-d model ant texture of sarissa spears in this beautiful mod? Is it possible to modify it?
May be somebody knows about mini-mod, which changes default pikes from vanilla RTW with new one?

Think you can change it in 3dsmax or Milkshape or something.

I know, that I can use 3-d max to change it. But 3-d model of the sarissa is not connected with 3-d model of the unit, like other weapons, and i don't know which file i have to modify...

Sorry, can't help you with that, I know zero about modeling and such, except the name 3dsmax :)
Skinning however....
