Relocation challenge!

Remember the good ol' days of the random MTW2 relocation challanges? The Kingdom of Scotland moving its capital to Jerusalem? Egyptians in Denmark? Russians in Spain?

I'm curious to know if anybody's tried something similar with ETW. Obviously cross-theater relocation is no good, since I believe losing the last territory in your home theater results in a loss, but other possibilities exist. Russians in Spain, for instance ;)

Basically, the idea is that at the start of a campaign you load up all of your military resources onto a boat and haul them across the map somewhere. Sweden to Italy, Ottomans to France, etc. etc. Then you either cause your previous provinces to revolt or let somebody invade/take over them.

I'm tempted to try it myself sometime, but so far IS has kept me entertained :P

Yeah, I took the Plains Nations to Egypt and made Cairo my capital last week, just for kicks and giggles. Nobody can beat that.

A long time ago, I also took the Knights of St. John to Iceland (and made tons of money through trade slots and a nigh monopoly on the North American fur trade; one of my fav campaigns), and Georgia to Mesopotamia (and established a neo-Seleucid Empire).

Now that you got me all riled up, I want to try out my Icelandic campaign again. I doubt it'll work with all the new patches, though.

It's easy. You just gotta slightly modify your savegame file to change your capital and home theatre. I'd recommend doing some searches on TWC, because PeverGreeN is far too lazy to bother posting a read-me here. :laugh4:
