CTD every second battle.

I get a CTD now in my romani campaign when i enter a battle. If i restart EB, the first battle after that works fine, the second battle crashes again.

If the fixes are properly installed, no submods are installed and other savegames work right please run a validation and post the results here. Otherwise check your system, if there are problems with your ram.

No matter what I try I have CTD every 1,7 game when fighting the Lusos and 2,2 when fighting the cartied. My solution is to not fight them, but when I do, Blitz them. Sucks, but such is life.

Missing sprites RETROACTIVE

Updated 2008-11-25: Included the DMB fixes that IAmPhet posted about.
Several sprites for units added soon before the release (of 1.1 :sweatdrop:) were again forgotten, causing CTDs while loading battles. This fix will add the missing sprites and also fix another two errors in descr_model_battle.txt.
Download this file from the EB FTP (ftp://europabarbarorum.org/sprites12.zip), or if that fails, Rapidshare (http://rapidshare.com/files/168564159/sprites12.zip.html) (who are quickly going to make themselves extinct by limiting to 10 downloads).
Unpack into <RTW directory>/EB/data.





If you already have them implemented, do you have some minimods installed?

CTD before battles are odd and almost ever linked to changed files, corrupted installation or the silly RTW-engine.

I play 1.1, for some reasons I cannot install 1.2. My chrashes are while the battles are loading, but thanks.

That is definetely the sprites. Just checked my EB-Directory but I do not have the fixes for 1.1 anymore.

Why are you not able to install 1.2? The installer works as same as the installer for 1.1.
Could you post exactly whats going wrong?

Fixed! layed off playing for a while, then finished the lusotana. Haven't had CTD's for a long time since then.
