Does anyone else kill off a FM that doesn't have the "loyal" trait? -It might sound strange, but when I see an unloyal FM, I send him to the front lines..

Any other reasons you kill off a FM?

I haven't found Loyalty to be much of a concern unless I'm fighting a Superpowerful Romani/Ptolemy

hmmm, i'm playing as sweboz, and all my FM's fight every battle in the middle of the front line, they have to prove there bravery ;) once though, i invaded Italy with two full stack, and the roman corrupted one who wasn't loyal... that same stack destroyed my first one... and they captured a city... with my stack :( since that time, I make sure that all unloyal FM fight (like all others!) on the front line... ahead of the others! If they survived, they earned the right to live... for that season at least! and if they survive... they are hell of a general! still unloyal though...

Har har har.... to prevent those unloyal bunch from betraying you, all that you must do is let them sit their arse on governatorial position, as a city is far harder to bribe than an army. Well, if you sense this man is far too disloyal, just let him govern a specific underdeveloped backwater city... just let him quell the riots and once you gained those disciplinarian / strict governor traits... they won't be disloyal again...

I'm conducting some advanced research on the loyalty feature, if some experiments I'm running with halved triggers works I might post a discussion about creating a loyalty mod for EB.

I just kill of FM's if theyre not useful to me. Theres a number of large cities i want governors for, and a number of generals i want for every fullstack. I kill of the rest. To many damn FM's if you get a big empire, every generation it doubles.
