I don't think I will, since then I would have to buy a new laptop..and those things are...insanely expensive, so I hope EB2 won't need much better rig than MTW2.

I hope not i play M2TW in large settings, and his mods. i asweal play empire on large. EB 1 i use to play on HUGe settings, and the loading screens are very fast, so i find i dont need to.
Anyway if need be, i wont buy a new pc to play EB2, but i think i dont need it.

I'm all set for the eventual release of EBII!!

Purchased my pc specifically to be able to play Empire on the highest settings, so pretty sure it'll play EBII. :beam:

I'm looking for a PC that can play Shattered Horizon(!) on the highest settings, meaning I'll be able to have lagless 1:1 scale custom battles.

Yep definetly! But I then I will be able to try DoWII, Dragon Age, DiabloIII, DotS etc in hi res.
So its not ONLY for EBII

I hope I won't need a new one:no:
Have been playing MEDIITW since wendesday and it seems my comp can take it well - loading times are as with R:TW so I suspect it will change like with EB: slower but it won't crash, so all I need is patience.
As with battles: haven't experienced it being laging alot or anything so I hope it will work OK (I could put the setting loower if need be).
No, I have a decent enough rig as it is... just need a graphics card worthy of the name.

I played MTW II mods Stainless Steel, The Fourth Age and Broken Crescent, but if EB II is as much demanding as EB I compared to other mods for the same engine, I need an other PC.
Cheers.

I might as well, but no way I can afford one.
Well, i dont know about buying, but i think i can steal my wife's since its much better than mine.
There is ofc always the posibility of her starving me till i give it back, but EB2 is worth it and i do need a diet :laugh4:
Maybe I will do the same with my brothers

Will EBII need more then MTW2?

Well I have a new one on which I can run E:TW in the highest graphics settings possible, speed up a battle to 6x and have no lag at all. I think that should suffice for EB II... :2thumbsup:
I seem to prefer large settings instead of huge settings anyway. So unless its massively draining on my system I find it highly unlikely. I can play all games currently out on max settings.
Anyway, isn't EB2 meant to be less script intensive than EB1? Should have less of a slowdown effect. Of course those guys will probably just stick more stuff in the game then.
