This is an traditional game of mafia, with 2 mafia and 14 townies. No detectives or power town roles.

I also want to thank anime "Gintama" for the inspiration
Oh and "Alien vs Predator" for inspiring Gintama thus inspiring me. :bow:

Alien vs Yakuza

Long time ago... in a galaxy far far away

There was a planet... The technology in this planet was highly advanced, and with the shape shifting ability of the inhabitants, resident of the planet Org have dominated thousands and thousands of planets, massacring millions, burning them to ashes....

But that was thousand years ago. Now, planet Org is governed by lazy king Beefy, and ambitious, angry Queen Beefy who is sick of her husband just laying around on his couch, playing his Org Ukulele. Queen Beefy is bored. So she decided that she'll conquer something.

New target was called planet earth. It is so far away from planet Org, it cannot possibly hurt any 'diplomatic relationship' with the rivals. It is full of 'humans' who apparently have a great talent in art. Queens aim was to conquer this planet, and make the humans create some cute characters to entertain her.

So with 300 hand pick elites, she started a secret campaign. First, learning the culture of every single country, second by shape shifting and disguise as the local and finally secretly replacing the key figure and take control of that country. By this method, Europe fell, shortly followed by Africa and Middle East. South east Asia and Oceania then to America.

Citizens of USA, especially the FBI have gave up a good fight, being responsible for the death of most of her soldiers. The satanic tactic to lure them out with Mars bars and gummy bears with sleeping potion in it worked wonders, and they were finished of with mystical ancient method of 'baseball bat'. However, after a long and tough fight, Queen and her soldiers stood victorious, managing to replace the president with the dumbest of her soldier. Revenge is sweet.

Now only one country remains. Japan, the country of the rising sun. Upon conquering Japan, the entire anime and manga personal will be hers, which will provide her more of cute characters like Pikachu which could have her going for hours and hours.

Queen Beefy stood in front of her sixteen soldiers. And made a brief speech.
"The land you stand on. Is the city of Hiroshima. This is where we will start our final invasion of this campaign. Whether if we will be victorious or leave defeated is completely on your hands! I trust you all to obey my command to the word in order to succeed here. Until we are ready, you are to disguise your self so you won't stand out in this city. Study the geography and study the culture. You are to meet in this alley for the meeting and discuss what you found. Go now!"
With the mighty roar, Aliens rushed out to the sun setting city of Hiroshima.

Meanwhile, wounded FBI agent Jack Baur was running in the city of Hiroshima. Desperate to warn the local authorities about the possible Alien invasion. His sight was starting to blur, but he dared not faint as the fate of human kind depended on him. Yet he could not find a police station... Or any people. He sighed and headed to the direction where he could hear cheering. He saw Matsuda Zoom Zoom Stadium, home of the local baseball team Hiroshima Carps.

Inside Jack saw the Carps... Losing miserably against their arche enemy Hanshin Tigers. And group of angry man with Guns. Perhaps they are the local authority.
"Konbanwa" said Jack, approaching the group. The group immediately pointed the gun at him. Not bad he thought. Never knew the Japanese cops are this cautious of foreigners, but this could benefit us.
"My name is Jack Baur and I'm a federal agent from the United States. I have a urgent news which I must tell you"
So he told the whole thing and soon as he has done so, he passed out. Jack was happy that he completed the mission. But the Gods knew he didn't quite done so. As the group of man were Yakuzas.. Sort of the group that Jack has been fighting for his life before the Aliens came along.

"Kumichou! This Gaijin is crazy! He must be a Hanshin Fan trying to taunt us!" said one of the Yakuza member.
"Dirty Tigers, sending a wounded Gaijin to tell us a story about alien invasion? During a match? I don't think so Mashiba. Either this Gaijin is on drugs, or his telling a real thing.." Said the old leader. After going through a quick thought, he called his right hand man, Jou. "Jou. Go out to the town and find those dirty aliens. This is our town after all. Cops are too lazy to get their hands dirty... These aliens.... Aren't a problem!"

While the Yamaguchi Clan, the largest Yakuza syndicate in Japan decided that they were going after the head of Queen Beefy, 7th squad Lieutenant of the Soul Society, Iba Tetsuzaemon was called by his Captain, Captain Komamura aka Doggy.

"Iba.." said the captain. "Are you satisfied with your life?" he asked.
"Ofcause I am!" answered Iba. "Theres no better Captain to have then Captain Komamura!"
"Thats not what I meant... I meant your recent exposure on the manga series and anime. Your first appearance, you pulled off a jumping knee slide, which got you some fans. However, since then you almost lost against Madarame Ikakku a Third seat, You lost against a bounto, You ran from hollows, you ran from arrancars, you ran from Pow, and you ran from...."
"Enough! Please captain! Stop it!" Begged Iba.
"Apologies. What I'm saying is... would you like a job? It would get you some fans and most of all... Its in Hiroshima."
Iba didn't think another second. He was off to Hiroshima.

It was early in the morning when the two Yakuzas met each other. Otonanoji Jou and Iba Tetsuzaemon.

"You don't look familiar.. " said Jou. "But is that alien in your hand?"
"Yes" answered Iba. "I'm guessing you are after the aliens as well. Well it was fortunate that we met each other. I suggest we work together."
"Agreed. We'll make a good team. Now, looks like the aliens are after an identity. If we are to sneak in their meeting, its best if we grab our self a identity as well."
"Sure thing."
"I'll meet you there brother."

Queen Beefy noticed that the life sign of two of her soldier was missing.
However there is 16 soldiers in front of her. Unfortunately, she cannot tell the difference with everyone having a new identity.
"Looks like two of our men is killed. And was replaced by the silly humans. Very well. We'll eat each other one by one until we find the silly humans amongst us!"

So the war between Aliens and Yakuzas has now began.

Heres the rules.

1.No lynch is not allowed
2. To vote for someone, please do it in this format, Vote: Beefy and Unvote: Beefy
3. Role reveal can be done on public and on private. However, mafia will have a cover role, and there's no power roles so there is no point.
4. Role playing is encouraged but most of the characters will be new to you. So don't stress if you don't know how to role play and just act like you normally do.
5. Usual gameroom rule applies. No swearing and player bashing. We're all here to have some fun:smash: Though try not to annoy the players by unnecessary spamming.
6. Missing the votes two days in a row will result in a WoG or replacement unless there is a reason for it. If you know your going to be away, then please find someone to replace you if possible.

The Queen stood in front of her soldiers and made a brief speech.

"Life signal of two of our soldiers is missing! As much as I would like to find them by sniffing, my orders to get a new identity has backfired on us. So the only way to find those who doesn't belong to this squad.. Quite possibly the Yakuzas.... Must be found by lynching. I now order you all to discuss this matter and bring one to me if you think that one is likely to be a traitor

Because I don't want to look like meta-gaming, because last time I did, we won the first round. :smash: Shortest game in gameroom history.

Now I use random.org to decide which round I should vote you on. It gives a sense of randomness to the decision and to gamelength. It is hard having you be Mafia so much. We as the town have to decide how long we want the game to be and pretend we are playing the an uninformed majority, I am sure it is tedious always being labelled as the bad guy too, by game hosts.

Day 1 summery

Queen stood in front of one... Centurion. Who claims to be one of her soldiers.
"So Centurion. Why should I believe that you are one of mine?" asked the Queen, staring at Centurions ugly face. Centurion didn't answer, instead he gave back a unexpected "caw caw"
"So thats it? Thats the only defense your going to give? Caw caw?"
"Well, I don't know what else.. I'm a crow..."

Indeed he was. Infront of the cute character loving Queen, there stood a ugly small crow.

"How were you planning to fight against the Yakuzas with your small body? Or actually do anything to benefit our invasion? Silly man. Come forth so I can taste you."

Poor crow dived in Queens mouth, hoping he'll make it out of there alive. But the Queen was not in a good mood to let him off with a lick. She wanted to chew Centurion until he was cut up into tiny pieces...Even tinier then he already is... And swallowed the poor soul.

After spitting out some bones which was crushed into tiny pieces, Queen made a brief speech warning the Yakuzas.

"Attention you dirty impostors. I already know that you are Yakuzas. Don't you dare imagine that you can get away from killing my loyal soldiers. I'll chew you like I just chewed that dirty crow. I'll let you off for today. But when we all get together at tomorrows meeting... We'll do this again and next time we will get you for sure!"

When I was still at school, I was in a Film class. There was an assessment to make a documentary film, so I decided I’ll shoot “Crows vs Bush Turkeys.. Which is the most hated bird on campus.” But unfortunately, it was a group task… We had to shoot some boring documentary about “creative writing”

Anyway, sorry for the rant. You have chosen to be a crow, which obviously didn’t please the Queen. You may be able to observe the people of Hiroshima freely, but you have failed to fulfill the other criteria, being cute. But who cares.

Crows are awesome! You lads are incredibly intelligent for a bird. You also have lots and lots of friends and enough food to live on.

Your job is to eliminate the Yakuzas… if you can with your small body… and hopefully make the Queen understand that what you’ve done is purely for the benefit of the Queen.

I was doing a quick simulation and found out with 1 kill per night for both mafia and role being revealed upon death, mafia will quickly run them selves in trouble. So I decided that mafia will go back on 1 kill per mafia to make it a little fair for them.. Heres the write up

Night 1 summery

Kurai yoruno komichi wo. Kuroneko ga hashiru~
Gojiman no kagishippo wo suihei ni. Ifuu doudou to.

Cultured Drizzt fan was staring at the big screen in front of Hiroshima railway station where passengers can check the daily news, weather and sometime even listen to popular songs. Music which was on right now was "K" by Bump of Chicken (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2mH7wFiaKo&feature=related). Song about a lonely cat being picked up by a young artist... They would have a good time together but soon young artist dies. Cat goes on to a journey to deliver a mail to the artists girl friend... Regardless of the cruel humans being mean to the poor cat, cat eventually gets to the artists girl friend and delivers the mail. But unfortunately he dies.

Good song, thought Cultured Drizzt fan. Perfectly representing how he feels right now. His been running away from cruel people of Hiroshima bullying him for being a mascot character for a internet forum. Only people who treated him nicely were some Gaijin who demanded some photos of him and some nerds.. Very few of them but they asked for a hand shake.

Poor Cultured Drizzt fan, pretending to be Monar watched the crowd moving up and down the street like ants as time passed by. Finally a moment of peace.

Those were the last thing Cultured Drizzt fan heard when he realized that the passengers completely disappeared. Then he realized, passengers was avoiding him, then he noticed it was not him, poor old Monar that they were avoiding, but those surrounding poor old Monar.

Pistols was fired all around him which created multiple holes in his body.
Sense of agony ran around Monars body, but his alien armour deflected all the bullets.

However, though Cultured Drizzt fan managed to give a fearsome voice of rage, he didn't have the chance to counter attack as one of the men who is hiding in his group... Otonanoji Jou... AKA Jou Aniki appeared in front of him and chopped him in half by the waist. Cultured Drizzt fan died far away from his beloved Queen. Surrounded by merciless Yakuzas.. He died alone.

To the dead corpse of this alien, Jou Aniki whispered
"Alien ga nanbo no monjai! (These aliens aren't a problem)"

Then ordered his men to clear the dead body and sink it to the bottom of the river.
"We can't leave a dead body in front of the railway station. We don't want to surprise tourists do we." said Jou. Smiling coldly at the shivering skinny young man from Tokyo.

2channel is known as one of the largest internet forum which is out there. And your Monar are one of the most popular AA (ASCII Art) character on 2chan along with Giko cat and Moraler.

Originally, your character concept is “Mysterious creature which has aspects of cat and a bear” but, most of people regard you as a cat. Your role on 2chan is constantly challenging user with a famous line “Omae Monar!” which sounds like Omae Mona which means you too. This AA is used often to challenge foolish user who tells others to get out of here or stop spamming.
Your other role is being used as a base to create more AAs. Monar. You are really important in the word of 2chan.

Being a royal servant of the Queen Beefy, you chose a cute character as your identity; however, what you forgot is that Monar is a symbol of some internet forum. Being a city full of hard core Yakuza and Young gangsters, citizens of Hiroshima may pick on you for being a nerdy character. Your job is to search the city as well as eliminating the Yakuza inside your group.

"Another Okonomiyaki please!" said Woad&Fangs, ordering yet another piece of Japanese Pancake. This delicacy was slightly different from the Osakas' mainstream Okonomiyaki where his identity came from and this particular pancake in Hiroshima was called Hiroshimayaki, or Hiroshima style.

Woads didn't notice the fact that everyone in the shop was staring at him with 2 cold eyes. Cold manners was inevitable. Not only that Woad&Fangs new identity was Kuidaore Ningyou (Eating to much that you collapse doll) the symbol of Osaka who is already hated for their crimes, but what made it worse was that Hiroshima Carps lost against Hanshin Tigers tonight... Tigers being the baseball team from Osaka.

Suddenly a small red fireball came right at Woads' face, which he managed to dodge at the last second.

"You won't get away from me! Destruction spell 33! Shakkahou!!"
In front of him, it was one of his comrades... Or one who he thought was his comrades, shooting some fireballs at him.

"You!! Your the Yakuza in our group!"

"Indeed I am" answered Lieutenant Iba. "I'm surprised you can see me though... Wait.. I forgot that I'm in a gigai. Silly me.."

While Iba was ranting on about his careless mistakes, Woads already made a ran for the door. Successfully managing to get away... I must notice the Queen... I must.

He was just few hundred meters away. When a bike came at him head on.
"Friend... You forgot to pay up." said the old granny on the bike. It was the granny from the pancake shop. "Now what should I do with you... Hey! You fireball shooting Yakuza! Cmon here!"

Woads tried to crawl away, but the granny stomped on him.

"Yes lady. What can I do for you?"
"You slow moving Yakuza! I can't believe you let him get away."
"My apologies..."
"He havn't paid.. Make him pay"
Iba gave a quick nod and pulled out his sword.

"No!! Please!!"

Iba mercilessly pulled up the alien, and chopped him from his naval to his jaw.

Greetings. Representing the West Japan… Well Osaka. I present to you. Kuidaore Ningyou. Kuidaore Ningyou means “Eating too much that you collapse doll” which pretty much represent Osaka peoples philosophy on life. Eat, eat and laugh.

While you started out in a small diner in Osaka, eventually you somehow ended up as a mascot of Osaka. As the owner of the shop got too old to continue the diner, Kuidaore Ningyou too will be retiring, though since he is now the symbol of the city, someone may just buy you to act as a tourist attraction.
You have made the worst choice. It was alright until Hanshin Tigers of Osaka bought Kanemoto, fourth batter of Hiroshima Carps. People of Hiroshima was fairly cool with it. However in 2007, they took yet another fourth batter Arai (AKA the traitor and a liar), and attempted to take the ace pitcher Kuroda (now in LA Dodgers) from Hiroshima Carps. Now Tigers became Carp fans arch enemy. As a symbol of Osaka, you’ll have a hard time over here. I like the way you start your post by basically saying 'I'm a townie' Which usually means 'I'm not a townie'

Now then...lets look to your rule book, maybe you don't 'officially' qualify as a bandwagonner but you followed the persons vote in front of you mindlessly, that is bandwagonning behavior at the very least. Whether your little rule book says second or third to vote for someone makes it a bandwagon or not, your doing everything a bandwagoner would do, so stop playing fairly pointless games with what is and isn't a mafia game rule.

You vote for the same person the first person voted for about an hour after they vote. Which is piling the pressure, most townies spread there votes out, but by mounting his votes up you seriously increased athelotes chance of being lynched on no other logic than 'hes always mafia'. Using data from other games is poor logic and can result in a player losing interest in this game, if that is the only basis you vote for someone. Your vote was based on personal experience and our own silly grudges when it should have been a fresh slate! :whip:

Thoughts on the situation, as Split said, its perfectly normal for an innocent townie to vote for someone else to save their own hide because they know 100% they are innocent, but they aren't sure about the other person.

Firstly… You got sacked. It’s a real shame as Sensei was one of my favourite members of the Carps.

Despite the awful awful batting average and even worse performance he shows when defending, you were well loved by people of Hiroshima. Perhaps that’s because name Seabol sounds like C坊　meaning Carp boy, a mascot of the Carps. The facial expression you show when you scored a yet another error and the poker face you show after the homerun made your smiling face after the victory against Hanshin Tigers even more sweet.

You may not be quite loved by the Queen as you are definitely not cute from none Hiroshima citizens, but you can definitely pursuit the secondly objective which is to investigate the culture of this city and to find the Yakuzas hiding amongst the group.

Being a future robot cat, he expected to be waken up by a large bang bang on the door, and a crying voice of a stupid boy calling his name. "Doraemon! Help me!!" But instead, Bang bang was the same.. Except it was pistols, and what greeted sleepy Robot Cat Stildawn was dozen of men with scratch wound on their face... Yakuzas.

"Stuff it!! Shakkahou!!" The red fireball got the lady directly on the face. While everyone in the pet shop was completely terrified by the sudden appearance of the Yakuza, Iba made a ran for the terrified doggy and tackled him on the ground.

Many things happened in the next 5 second. First Iba noticed that the crowd shouting "animal cruelty!" and "Yakuza! Leave the doggy alone!" Then he noticed the dog his holding.. So.. similar to the captain..... So cute... Then a large bang on his head. It was the lady who got hit by Shakkahou, holding a metal pipe.

"Hey Yakuza! What do you think your doing to my dog? Huh?"
"but... but... His an... alien..."

Just so you know, no Mafia would have night killed me as I was a sure lynch target, except for atheotes, as he might have thought I would have voted for him again.

His end of round actions set off Scum-dar 5 games away. He never posted at all, untill it was to save himself, then he made a big show of "innocence" plus other actions.

I only originally voted for him to provoke a reaction and well, it worked.

I was the sure lynch target, they would have got me lynchyed, killing other townies, then they would have kept you alive, this way, they got next two lynches lined up.

remember back to when atheotes was on the block and it was tied. He could have saved himself and he didn't. Death is yonder I was thinking about, but he just saved my butt when he didn't have to. As mafia he's probably got things wrapped up, if you look at where the vote tally was.

On my analysis, I have the suspects down to Split and AVSM. Possibly Thermal Mercury, but I haven't played with him in so long I can't get a good reading on him.

But in the final analysis, I just have to go with my rule. No lurker victories. 2 posts all game? DIE.

Now then...lets look to your rule book, maybe you don't 'officially' qualify as a bandwagonner but you followed the persons vote in front of you mindlessly, that is bandwagonning behavior at the very least. Whether your little rule book says second or third to vote for someone makes it a bandwagon or not, your doing everything a bandwagoner would do, so stop playing fairly pointless games with what is and isn't a mafia game rule.

You vote for the same person the first person voted for about an hour after they vote. Which is piling the pressure, most townies spread there votes out, but by mounting his votes up you seriously increased athelotes chance of being lynched on no other logic than 'hes always mafia'. Using data from other games is poor logic and can result in a player losing interest in this game, if that is the only basis you vote for someone. Your vote was based on personal experience and our own silly grudges when it should have been a fresh slate!

I haven't been over protective of atheotes, you have been over-offensive to him, which is why I am defending him at all. This scummy mc sscummy comment is laughable, seeing as you have nothing on me other than defending a player that your harassing, you have nothing on me and no true reasons to believe I'm scummy, which is surely still an attempt on your part to detract attention from yourself. Maybe were both townies? either way going around saying whos who, when you blatantly have no clue, is ignorant in itself.

@Split: Townies aren't supposed to be afraid to die, Beskar didn't even bother to comment or say why he was voting centurion, but seemed more in a rush to vote for someone else before he got a majority vote himself. Perhaps, in his situation I may have protected myself over others if I know I'm innocent, but he didn't even seem bothered and was quick to place all the blame onto me & Athelotes, even though it was he that killed the townie, quite bluntly.

There isn't much else to say and whilst there isn't much evidence to go on in this game, I certainly don't see why I'm such a big suspect in comparison to Beskar, given that mostly everyone said they were going to vote for him this round anyway after his actions the day before. Furthermore, why beskar & me anyway? Why apply pressure just to us? No one is ruled out yet & so I fail why anyone else should feel there in a safer position just because they lurk most of the time.

As you can see I am putting effort into this game, if you wish to vote me out then fine, but I can't of tried harder to convince you of my actions. Furthermore whether you vote me out someone else or Athelotes it doesn't bother me an awful lot, go ahead and lynch atholates or me if you want to, that is no bluff because I am not his mafia partner and if you want to lynch we to prove that, then I am willing to die for you. Though I doubt Beskar is.

When I come on tomorrow I'll see how you respond, if it is still roughfully a draw, I will vote for myself as I will have failed to convince you who is the best lynch candidate

However, I find atheotes too scummy all the time to unvote him. He wouldn't kill Beskar on night 1 because that would give him away. But the pressure works conversely. atheotes can't kill Beskar because he's so vocal against him, but he can't exactly let him influence the town. Night 2 kill sounds like one of exasperation. Why else kill Beskar, who most of the town would happily lynch as well? It's atheotes.

It may have been overblown, but under blown rarely gets noticed, and I did state in that post that I thought Beskar was probably townie, even though he was acting scummy....
I would vote for you but I don't want to completely overrun your chances incase you are innocent, as you were lurking and only stopped when you were voted for.

Well when Death is Yonder voted for ATPG straight after atheotes did that reminded me of you number 3. Mafia voting for people (a person) they KNOW are innocent, but DiY changed his vote and let AVSM take over, plus nothing else about him seems suspicious.

I would go with option 1, pick the lurker and join the bandwagon, but seeing as I'm not that certain either way I don't want to be responsible for AVSM's lynching if he is innocent, which is why I'm keeping my options open, by voting for say AVSM, a bigger suspect? Its almost like I'm damning any other vote as he will have the majority.

That's not true, it worked for me in Red Phoenix. I picked Khaan and voted him until he died or I got murdered or lynched. He died and he was mafia.

That works just as well as random voting. Less susceptible to being persuaded, too.

i kept my vote on you because i feel you know Beskar well enough and killing him would guarantee a lynch target. But i just realized that i have to agree with one of Beskar's points. if he had not been killed he would still be voting for me and causing enough distraction for mafia to escape. Following my lynch and subsequent proof Beskar would become the top lynch target and mafia would win that game at the point. Again this can be discredited as WIFOM, but that would be the most logical thing to do.
so now i leaning more towards someone who has not followed the game very closely.

Long case, I just re-read and figured something that I wish I had seen earlier :wall:

This round, voted Atheotes because he seemed like instead of moving on and carrying on discussion like a good townie, he consistently brought the topic back to Beskar, who he knew consistently gunned for him, and would probably never cease once he started, and he took advantage of it. This though, is not the main point, until this round, I didn't really suspect Atheotes or TM, but since I'm in the opinion that Atheotes is the mafia, it makes lots of sense that TM is too in retrospect, and this round, TM's been acting quite scummy, a drastic change in behavior.

Whether your little rule book says second or third to vote for someone makes it a bandwagon or not, your doing everything a bandwagoner would do, so stop playing fairly pointless games with what is and isn't a mafia game rule.

You vote for the same person the first person voted for about an hour after they vote. Which is piling the pressure, most townies spread there votes out, but by mounting his votes up you seriously increased athelotes chance of being lynched on no other logic than 'hes always mafia'. Using data from other games is poor logic and can result in a player losing interest in this game, if that is the only basis you vote for someone. Your vote was based on personal experience and our own silly grudges when it should have been a fresh slate! :whip:

I haven't been over protective of atheotes, you have been over-offensive to him, which is why I am defending him at all. This scummy mc sscummy comment is laughable, seeing as you have nothing on me other than defending a player that your harassing, you have nothing on me and no true reasons to believe I'm scummy, which is surely still an attempt on your part to detract attention from yourself. Maybe were both townies? either way going around saying whos who, when you blatantly have no clue, is ignorant in itself.

@Split: Townies aren't supposed to be afraid to die, Beskar didn't even bother to comment or say why he was voting centurion, but seemed more in a rush to vote for someone else before he got a majority vote himself. Perhaps, in his situation I may have protected myself over others if I know I'm innocent, but he didn't even seem bothered and was quick to place all the blame onto me & Athelotes, even though it was he that killed the townie, quite bluntly.

There isn't much else to say and whilst there isn't much evidence to go on in this game, I certainly don't see why I'm such a big suspect in comparison to Beskar, given that mostly everyone said they were going to vote for him this round anyway after his actions the day before. Furthermore, why beskar & me anyway? Why apply pressure just to us? No one is ruled out yet & so I fail why anyone else should feel there in a safer position just because they lurk most of the time.

As you can see I am putting effort into this game, if you wish to vote me out then fine, but I can't of tried harder to convince you of my actions. Furthermore whether you vote me out someone else or Athelotes it doesn't bother me an awful lot, go ahead and lynch atholates or me if you want to, that is no bluff because I am not his mafia partner and if you want to lynch we to prove that, then I am willing to die for you. Though I doubt Beskar is.

When I come on tomorrow I'll see how you respond, if it is still roughfully a draw, I will vote for myself as I will have failed to convince you who is the best lynch candidate

Well when Death is Yonder voted for ATPG straight after atheotes did that reminded me of you number 3. Mafia voting for people (a person) they KNOW are innocent, but DiY changed his vote and let AVSM take over, plus nothing else about him seems suspicious.

I would go with option 1, pick the lurker and join the bandwagon, but seeing as I'm not that certain either way I don't want to be responsible for AVSM's lynching if he is innocent, which is why I'm keeping my options open, by voting for say AVSM, a bigger suspect? In conclusion for those who really hated the long walls of quotes and texts, I think that TM is a nervous mafia, he seemed genuinely trying to aid in discussion for the first few rounds, but lately, he screams WIFOMing mafia and nervous mafia trying to save his buddy. I've noted that he's usually only active when Atheotes is being actively accused, and he's been very indecisive and going with the flow of the town.

The whole game, Atheotes generally stayed his part of the discussion centered on the injustice of it all when Beskar keeps metagaming him, so to speak.

TM on the other hand, tried to distance himself from Atheotes after the early rounds whereupon they were picked up on by Beskar. He sounds like the mafia who isn't willing to risk being called out on something, and letting others make their own choices before he follows.

Next round, we need to vote for ThermalMercury and seal the deal, of course this is assuming Atheotes is the mafia, which I think he is. If these two people aren't mafia, then they are very, very, bad townies. :whip:

At first he seemed fine, but upon closer investigation and re-reading, TM's post comes off to me as very scummy, and I think it would warrant a lynch. He has been spewing WIFOM all game long, perhaps its time to call his bluff.

Long case, I just re-read and figured something that I wish I had seen earlier :wall:

This round, voted Atheotes because he seemed like instead of moving on and carrying on discussion like a good townie, he consistently brought the topic back to Beskar, who he knew consistently gunned for him, and would probably never cease once he started, and he took advantage of it. This though, is not the main point, until this round, I didn't really suspect Atheotes or TM, but since I'm in the opinion that Atheotes is the mafia, it makes lots of sense that TM is too in retrospect, and this round, TM's been acting quite scummy, a drastic change in behavior.

You know Beskar, he guns for Atheotes anyway, why so overprotective? Looked to me in retrospect now like you were looking for an easy target, alongside Atheotes.

Loath am I to admit it, Beskar actually probably is right here. After all the times, it makes sense this game.

Sounds like a mafia buddy in panic mode, underlined sections are the eyebrow raising ones. A few votes is hardly a bandwagon, a few drops in a puddle. Sounds a bit desperate to discredit Beskar because you know he will gun for Atheotes all game long.

Despite you being flat on your face wrong I will still answer these investigations of yours.

Firstly, I brought the topic back to Beskar because if you read his first few posts they were unbelievely scummy, voting for someone because they are usually mafia (and he wasn't either shock horror) is a bad tactic so why shouldn't I defend a player who was getting a pile of votes for pretty much no reason game related?

Furthermore, I don't know beskar, I have no clue whether he usually guns of at athelotes, so why on earth assume I know this? :wall:

Next you claim I sound like a mafia buddy in panic, when really I replied quite boldly because I was outraged that Beskar blamed centurions death on me when he was the one who decided to kill him, athelote was merely the object beskar was arging over which is why I responded with athelotes as an example of beskars scummy behavior.

I have more posts than you my friend, I posted consistently, roughly form 5pm-midnight GMT, here and there daily, my posting times were consistant and just because Athelotes may have been at a simliar time you take what is (barely coincidental, its not unlikely for it to happen) I posted steady throughout the game, if I posted when athelotes was being attacked then you must have permanently mauled him if that is the case, I even voted for him when he already had a lot of votes, but It was YOU GUYS THAT CHANGED YOUR VOTES, and look where it got you, I was just being a fair player, voting sensibly in my position, but In your eyes everything I did was suspicious, bias at all? You point out pretty much all my posts, you just wanted to see things and perhaps ATPG only agreed with you at all is because he is mafia.

DiY, I said you didn't seem suspicious anymore because you changed your vote from atpg to avsm, as at the time you just did what the person in front of you did even though there was no evidence. I also said I thought everyone was suspicious as a way of saying it really could be anyone, perhaps not shockingly helpful but certainly not material for you to get your claws into.

The reason I lacked self-initative for AVSM is because he asked a question I'm either guilty or you are, so too speak, he never answered it so I asked him for an answer, maybe you should consider what I say compared to other players posts. And how in anyway does me saying follow your instincts involve me? Now your twisting my words.

I'm sure DiY, from what few posts you have (you must be a lurker if I am! :inquisitive: ) I could pick up many criticisms with your posts if I wanted too because few posts are actually perfect. But what I did get more or less right is my suspicion of split (I voted for him last round) as well as ATPG, I may of defended Athelotes, but you never gave a second glance to split or ATPG, how can writing an unproved innocent off achieve anything?

I didn't try to distance myself from athelotes, I played a good townie game, posting regulary and contribuating where I could, so I very much dislike you calling me a very very bad townie, I probably wouldn't of even ranted so bad if not for that comment! :angry:

Just a few comments.

Firstly, I brought the topic back to Beskar because if you read his first few posts they were unbelievely scummy
They weren't, as Mafia never go high profile. As we saw this game, they never did. So it is a fallacy to even think that. Next you claim I sound like a mafia buddy in panic, when really I replied quite boldly because I was outraged that Beskar blamed centurions death on me when he was the one who decided to kill him, athelote was merely the object beskar was arging over which is why I responded with athelotes as an example of beskars scummy behavior.

About the townies should always save themselves, well when I used to play Townies weren't supposed to be afraid to die, sometimes if your desperate to prevent it, it comes off more scummy in the process

On the plus side, it really flagged split more on the radar, as I pointed out. He says about being "his ally" which he also did to me, and was encourging any issue there. (scum tactic)

If atheotes died or if I didn't die, I was going for split. Unfortunately, ATPG knew this and purposely killed me because he knew very well that I thought split was scummy and he knew the mafia wouldn't kill me, unless it was atheotes. If atheotes died and I got night killed, it was because of my suipicions on Splitpersonality, which would have lead me right back to ATPG. So ultimately.. yeah

Because of this, I know ATPG is the other mafia for certain. :shurg: Not really misjudgement. I am taking bets now, I am saying it is ATPG and Split (which hasn't been revealed in game or by them in private).

Relax, gentlemen! You were all in the same boat, none of you had any leads, it was a basic game.

I got smoked really good in Chicago Soiree by a couple of lurkers, and have had a vendetta against all lurkers ever since. Sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes the bear gets you. We all make mistakes, bad assumptions, and lousy guesses. In fact some of the so-called great players here have had really poor games. I seem to recall some townies lynching a guy recently who could defend two, investigate two.... :laugh4: nevermind I'll drop it. But the point is, don't think less of your fellow players for being wrong, thank them for trying. I know a certain player I play with often is dead wrong about me almost every time, but I still don't think he's a bad player.

Better to have players that try than ones that don't bother to vote. :2thumbsup:

On an amusing side note, this just adds to my streak that whenever I am townie I get lynched because I'm always so suspicious, but when I am mafia I don't... it's actually quite ironic. Don't try to reverse it, it's the Pizzaguy curse.

chances of dying are slim, I was unfamliar with protector role I admit, without that role I still agree it is stupid to reveal after 1 investigation, poker for example, if you don't bet high you don't win high, similiarly if you don't risk dying, you don't get enough information to possibly over throw the mafia completely.

I repeat I agreed with the sigurd decision, but if you had been (or still are) underhanded in that game, things are much different, open mindedness is better than closed imo :bow:

I know when given the choice knowing your a townie, you should vote to help yourself but in a game like koopa you can be killing a good role, one much better than your own, which is probably just as likely as a mafia role, even if this logic doesnt apply in a simple mafia such as this.

I agree with "atheotes is always quiet and lurks". Some people dont post as much as others. Not everyone has the same play style. By all standards i am someone who lurks always - as townie or mafia. Occasionally i might post more depending on the time i have and how much i understand the game setting.

I am always quiet by most people's standards. In the other current game- The Koopa Troop - i havent posted much but that doesnt mean i am mafia. you probably know that.

In your eyes saving yourself on the first round is not scummy...it may not be the same for everyone. To me it doesnt make a difference whether it is the first round or the last round. Saving oneself alone is not enough to condemn someone.
i was undecided because you were relentless in your pursuit. I was just weighing up my options. as a townie - you can say "i know i am a townie" and save yourself or i should not be afraid to die for the town. Both of them are possible! I left myself open to be lynched and it did not happen for 1 hour.

When you died you were calling for my death loud and clear. there didnt seem to be any doubts in your mind. Due to the fact that you revealed to ATPG, you should have thought about the possibility of him being mafia. unfortuanately you did not. On the contrary i was the one who brought up that theory.

AVSM was seated in a quiet restaurant. The room was dark, lit only by candles and a rather robust fire place. The waiter strolled over, and gently lowered a plate onto the table,

"Here you are sir," the man stated, "Enjoy.

The man stepped back, and turned on his heels, walking out of the seated area and back into the kitchen.

AVSM drooled, and quickly speared a few pieces of pasta, shoving them into his mouth. These past few days had been rather stressful, and the he was tired of all the food he had to endure living in Japan, it simply didn't agree with him. He was amazed to find such a good Itallian place here.

Sure the waiters were large and intimidating, and they often mispronounced the dishes, but who cared? When it came to food, the Italians simply had it right, and this place was too good to ignore.

Partway through his meal, AVSM looked up, and saw his waiter seated across from him at the table smiling.

AVSM stopped dead, midbite, and dropped his fork.

"Enjoying your meal sir?" the waiter asked.

The man stepped back, and turned on his heels, walking out of the seated area and back into the kitchen.

AVSM drooled, and quickly speared a few pieces of pasta, shoving them into his mouth. These past few days had been rather stressful, and the he was tired of all the food he had to endure living in Japan, it simply didn't agree with him. He was amazed to find such a good Itallian place here.

Sure the waiters were large and intimidating, and they often mispronounced the dishes, but who cared? When it came to food, the Italians simply had it right, and this place was too good to ignore.

If you ask anyone to name one Pokemon, 70 percent of the population will answer Pikachu. Americans and so on has twisted most of the pokemons names in to something completely different, but they couldn’t change Pikachu.

As you want to be loved by the Queen, you went for the safest choice by taking the identity of Pikachu. You will surely be loved by the Queen, but as for your other mission… to search the city of Hiroshima to observe the culture etc etc… It will be hard doing so, being forced to be surrounded by kids all the time.

Your job is to eliminate the Yakuzas. Unfortunately you don’t have thunder bolts or other nifty tricks that real Pikachu can use, but just grab a baseball bat or two, and make those poor fellas understand how far the Aliens are willing to go.

"Aww what a prick.." cursed the Queen at the back of Godzilla, who has already gone far far away. "Well then... you Yakuzas... No.. You Cherries.. Think you can beat me?"

"Sure. Your just a little bigger then the rest. Not much different are ya." replied Lieutenant Iba, holding his Zanpakutou tightly, while Jou Aniki slowly went around the Queen, securing the flank.

"You... UNDERESTIMATE ME!!"

"Shut your traps Brother.. These aliens aren't a problem!" With that incredibly cool and nifty phrase, Jou Aniki jumped high in the air, and somehow managed to float.

Phrase "Eastern Asian magic" struck Ibas head. Then he slowly remembered that he can do the same by using a little bit of Reiatsu.

Three warriors glared at each other as if its a scene from Star Wars Episode I. Just like what good old Darth Maul did, the Queen extended her tight sabre to double edged sword and started fighting the two Yakuzas.

Clearly the Queen was much more brave and skilled then other soldiers.. Surely she could've done the whole invasion on her own without paying a lot of casualties. But that aside, Jou Aniki too.... And Lieutenant Iba to some extent... was also talented fighters, equaling the fighting skill of the Queen with two of them combined.

While Jou got the Queen pinned down, Iba tried to attack the Queen from the rear... However noticing this, the Queen released her left hand from her tight sabre and released the green beam blast. Taking a direct hit, Iba hit the ground hard, as if he was bounded by a strong force, impossible to resist.

"What... Since when can the aliens use the force?" whined Iba, bleeding lightly from his head.
"Shuddup you! This is called the False! The power to cancel all physical impossibilities like humans flying! All your nifty human tricks belong to us!"
Queen recharged the false and released it at Jou Aniki, but he seemed unaffected by it.

Indeed, Jou was moving his leg so fast, almost matching that of speed of light so he could float. "This isn't physically impossible. I'm just buff"
With his sword technique, Jou managed to lightly sliced the Queens breast. When she retreated backwards, Jou pulled off couple of complex back flips (Which pleased the crowd so much that they applauded), and charged fiercely at the Queen.

"You havn't understood... The Full power of the dark side!" Shouted the Queen and blasted away Jou Aniki with what seems to be a transformation.

You’re Arch enemy were mainly the Japanese Defense forces in your villainous days, but for some reason, recent films shows you fighting against another villainous creatures making you sort of like a hero instead of cruel and brutal creature.

As a result of those films depicting you like defender of Japan, you are well respected by the Japanese people…. Not the sort of reaction you expected from them. But it is true that your grudge against the country is slowly dying out.
