View Full Version : Google Wave
So this Google Wave (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Wave) thingy. Seems like a lot of fuss over a new way to do what I can already do.
Plus... it's coded in Java. :skull:
My friend offered me an invite, is it worth accepting? I have no real reason to use it. So I'm inclined to just watch my fellow IT nerds fawn over it while I go about my business.

Was offered invite by friend IT nerd (massive nerd)
Doesn't look all that great.
I've got 8 invites if anyone wants one.

I'm always one to check out new communications ideas. It may not prove useful for me, but it's still worth looking at. May I have an invite pevergreen? Email address should be available clicking my avatar.
I've got it, but I don't get it. Looks like a super-fancy IM package to me. I'm probably missing something. I never thought Twitter would take off either.

As per PM.
For others, if you wish one, send me a PM so you don't have to reveal your email, if you don't want to.
Or email me, for those already with it, add me on it as well.
pevergreen@googlewave.com/gmail.com
or
pevergreen@pevergreen.com (have you ever seen a cooler email address? Its full on 100% pever)
If they don't get the right to store, use and sell the usernames and passwords I enter and/or my private discussions, I might want to give it a try. :sweatdrop:
