Ok so i noticed that you can load vanilla EB games run with rome total war when playing with EB with alex, But you cant load saved games started with alex when playing with rome total war.

Noooowwwww my question is can i start a game using rome total war with EB, save it, transfer it over to my alex EB and then after playing for some time load it back to vanilla EB, hence this would able me to load saved games on both rather than always having to use alex because if we find that alex isnt as good down the line or if i just wanna open my campaigns in vanilla EB.

Any 1 got an answer?

I don't think its meant to work like that, not even the transfering RTW games to ALEX. You risk getting your game screwed up. Its much better to just stick with one. Also I don't think there's a way to move ALEX games to RTW. Correct me if I'm wrong someone.

If oyu want my recommendation: Just start a game on ALEX and play for a few decades. If there's something that doesn't site right with oyu, just switch back. However, ALEX I think is much better.

Hehehe... if you don't mind all your general to become "slain by ****" "fathers unavenged" "one foot at the grave (in 24 y old guy) - (all impossible traits) or suddenly get "legendary administrator" (actually this was a good trait)

Huh, I never noticed that. The main problem is that alex.exe secretly adds a new trait. If you add the immortality trait to your EB files and make it so that it's impossible to get; it shouldn't matter with which .exe you start the game and you can switch between the two all you want.

The funny is, I haven't met with this trait in my alex.exe carrier, and I'm playing with it for a pretty long time now.

It's an invisible trait that causes your FM's to never die of natural causes, they can still die in battle or from assasins.

I know, but my FMs die naturally, that's why I sad I haven't met with that hidden trait.

Then you've must have added the immortality trait somehow, if you haven't done it yourself, perhaps you're using Maksimus' stuff?
If you don't have that trait anywhere in your EB files, then something funky is going on with your game.

AFAIK actually it was caused by a trigger that had a percentage to give Immortal traits to faction leader and heirs... just search and destroy delete that trait
