Once again I have started to get bored with my games library, which is quite large I suppose.

The one that is cominf nearest to keeping my interest is Supreme Commander although I have completed it and the expansion. Can anyone recommend a similar type of game?

I have C&C 3 but it just seems too small as if they have concentrated on graphics at the expense of the gameplay.

The other option I am considering is Football Manager 2010 but that always seems to involve a lot of time and effort.

Meneldil may have been joking, but it's worth look up Spring (http://springrts.com/). It's an open-source engine based off of a project to open source Total Annihilation. Basically, the engine is used to run different "mods" that function as separate games. There are a multitude of TA-based games as well as a good amount of non-TA content.
