I edited the Preferences Textfile in the RTW folder, but it did not word. :inquisitive: Then I saw, that there's a folder called "Preferences" in the RTW folder, and therein is another textfile called preferences. Changed the right ones from true to false, and fals to true... does not work.

What could it be? Please help

RTW\EB\preferences holds the preferences file for EB, you modified preferences for vanilla.

Sorry to ask, but I did not understand what are you trying to do?

Danke dir, Tollheit.

@ Leao magno: In battle every unit has a faction-banner, which you can see over this unit. The one that's blinking white, if units rout. This one I would like to disable, so you don't see them anymore.

Then there are these green markers, which appear when klicking on a unit. These I want to disappear too. It will be less easy to see which units are routing and which one are yours and which one the enemy's units. But the battles will look much more realistic and better ;-)

Wait, there is no Preferences-Textfile in the EB folder :inquisitive:

It should work if you copy the directory from RTW to the EB path.

Remember that this resets your settings of EB to the vanilla settings, I would suggest to run it onetime to set it to your will and after that edit manually (with anything but please not notepad, better notepad++)

BTW: wenn mein Englisch unklar ist, kann ich es auch per PM übersetzen

Wait, there is no Preferences-Textfile in the EB folder :inquisitive:

It should be in the [R:TW]\EB\preferences folder.

You can disable arrow markers and banners via trivial script too, IIRC.

Ludens, there is no "preferences" folder in RTW/EB... , there is only one in RTW....
Can I copy that one to the EB folder? Let me give you an overview:

In the RTW-Folder there is an preferences thextfile and two more none-textfiles ^^ also calles preferences. And there's a folder called "preferences" in which the same files are again.

In the EB folder there is simply nothing called preferences. Even if I search for "preferences" it shows nothing in the whole EB folder an all its subfolders...

But EB works, no problems...

If you start EB with trivial script use that to change it.

If not coy the folder to the EB directory and see if it works. If not simply delete it, should have no other effects.

Copying the folder and the file did not work, but I found out, that the EB savegames and the missing "preferences"-textfile are in another folder

Rome TW and EB are in C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War

The EB savegames and the preferences-file are in C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War

:inquisitive: :inquisitive: :inquisitive: well, however. It works now.

Thank you all very much
