1.2 patch question

Ok i dont quite understand what the boilerplate say it say [First select your RTW where EB1.1 is, then remove this]

So where do i put in TheCreativeBlahBlah/RomeTotalwar or TheCreativeBlahBlah/RomeTotalwar/Eb
and do i create a start menu folder ? tell me cause im confused

BTw is this Mod Mod-foldered ?

This mod is mod-foldered, but it is strivtly recommended to install it on a clean RTW 1.5 version and do not mix it with other mods.

To install 1.2, select the folder you installed RTW and EB 1.1, and afterwards delete the [First select your RTW where EB1.1 is, then remove this].

Do not install it in the EB folder, just directly in the RTW folder as 1.1

of course i did i read it even before i download the EXE for Eb 1.1



Still do we need to make a start menu foldeR ?

Ok, it sounds like you did not read it. Nearly at the end, TA writes about EB 1.2

Nevertheless, did you manage to install it now right? If you have a EB folder inside your EB/data directory, there is something wrong.

This is optional. If you want to start EB from the start menu, do it, if you want to start it from desktop/directory say no. This has no further trackings.

Be sure to check your EB shortcut:

My EB shortcut doesn't work!
Sorry about that. A product of lacking experience with creating installers, I made a mistake when creating the shortcuts that start EB 1.2.

* Use the Trivial Script to start EB instead of the start menu shortcut. You need to have installed this as part of EB 1.1.
* Modify the shortcut target. Move the end quote from the end of the line to directly after RomeTW.exe and it should work (goes for both the new shortcuts in 1.2). For instance, instead of "C:\My games\RomeEB\RomeTW.exe -mod:eb -show_err -ne" it should be "C:\My games\RomeEB\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb -show_err -ne.
