I am SO PISSED OFF!!!!!!
Imeem, a (previously) free service allowing you to simply listen to, not download, music, and came very much in handy when i wanted to play halo online and needed music. now i cannot. because of Myspace. ******* myspace. it bought them out, and there was a lawsuoit against imeem, so a combination of ******* lawyers and myspace destroyed my experience playing online pc games.
god damn it i am so pissed off right now. maybe i can drown my misery/hatred in a few burgers and a shake :furious3::furious3::furious3:
so does anyone know any sites like imeem that offers free listening?

Seriously? Myspace? That's for elementary schoolers. Next you'll be telling me you have a Xanga account somewhere.
You can listen to Internet Radio (ie. Last.fm), or Rhapsody (only for 20 or 25 tracks though, without some maneuvering), or even just Youtube. Youtube probably has whatever songs you are looking for.

Doesn't Youtube have a playlist feature though?
Yeah, I just checked, you can create your own playlists. Problem solved.

yea, just have youtube on auto run.
Unless the music was deleted or banned, it should just play it automatically in play list

Between media player/itunes/whatever, pandora, U-tube, and whatever other services are out there, it seems like a pretty minor complaint. Or you could just hire a string quartet to come provide live music while you play.

the problem with itunes is that i dont do it enough to warrant creating a new account, registering the credit card, and paying 10 bucks for the songs i want, but it is often enough that it makes me really mad.

BitTorrent is the easiest thing in the world to use. Just pick a client, open your ports, grab a tracker, and you're away. The real difficulty with it now is finding a good search engine. (Btw, if anyone has any Demonoid invites, pm me)

Bitcomet. :cool4:
uTorrent + The Pirate Bay = Win
May substitute TPB for any other site that isn't overloaded with pornography is as equally reliable. :2thumbsup:

Just whip out some old Dead tapes, that's what I always do!
Also when I'm away from my iTunes, I use archive.org (http://www.archive.org/details/GratefulDead) and wolfgang's vault (http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/), although by the sound of it, the type of music on those sites may not appeal to you very much...:juggle2:
This thread started badly, and it has never recovered. Enough.
